Really pleased with these lights. I have steps going up from my patio to the lawn - they are ideal and keep going - been in nearly a year now, still going!

I have purchased Mr Beams lights for many years now for an elderly friend to light the path to her front door. I had bought the older type which looked like a small box on top of the unit but have now switched to this newer design.I am very pleased as they have a wider spread of light - they are reliable and very economic on battery usage because they only come on at night when they detect movement - batteries have lasted well over a year. With the older design the batteries were housed in the top unit and a couple failed because they got wet inside but with this new design that doesn't happen. The batteries are housed in a line in the support post. Highly recommended - a very good product.

Easy to set up, simple to install - these are a great solution to providing lighting on a garden path without the fuss of laying a cable. They sit about 40cm tall once the spike is sunk into the ground and the head is angled to focus the light down and in front of the stalk, with a motion sensor placed just underneath. The motion sensor also has a dusk-sensor function built in which means that your lights won't waste their battery switching on during the day.I've got them lighting some tricky steps in the garden and I'm more than happy. They sense motion from about 3-4m away, so the steps are already clearly lit by the time I get there. The angle of the light means there's no dazzling glare in your eyes, just a crisp, white light revealing any potential hazards at your feet. The light covers a radius of about 1 - 1.5m from the base of the post, wlthough it fades quickly towards the edge.It stays on long enough for me to get up /down the steps but not so long that I'm cursing about wasted battery.Highly recommended as a solution for making tricky garden paths safer at night.

These are way over priced, for the money you would think they would be rechargeable but they aren't, they take four massive C batteries which aren’t included. One of them snapped the screws out of the cheap plastic housing as I was trying to put it in the ground. The motion detector is good, and the light level ok to be fair, I just think they’re overpriced for what is essentially an empty plastic tube.

We have bought 6 packs of these and so far they work great minus one light (out of 12) which seems to have lost some sensitivity to detection.Pros:- Emit a nice amount of light- Easy to assemble- Easy to Install- The motion detection has a wide rangeCons:- Requires a lot of batteries… 4 for each light unit! That means, for me, I will need 48 C batteries once my lights run out of charge!!!- The rubber ringed seal wasn’t glued down on two of my units meaning I needed to reseat them myself.- No option change settings e.g. how long they remain onOverall, great product!

Used these to light up a steep bank walkway to family house next door. They are really good and light up the path way so its safe in the dark. I got 2 sets and have them out a few weeks now and weather has been cold and wet. I did notice one stopped working so brought it into the shed and took batteries out and left overnight in shed, next day was working again and been working since. Might have just been a slight glitch.

I’m really happy with these lights. They were super easy to put together and stale in the garden. Have stood up to all the winter wind and rain. And are still giving out really great light at night. Use with some good quality batteries and you will have a great light.
