Even heating and great for sourdough.
This enameled cast iron Dutch oven is a fantastic addition to the kitchen. It is a very nice, well-constructed piece of cookware that performs exactly as it should. The heat distribution is impressively even, which eliminates hot spots and makes it great to cook in for everything from slow-simmered stews to searing meats. One of the areas where it truly shines is baking bread. It handles the high temperatures required for a professional-style crust perfectly. The lid seals in steam effectively, which is excellent for getting that ideal rise and airy interior. It has become my go-to for making artisan loaves at home. The enamel finish is durable and makes cleanup a breeze since food doesn't tend to stick to the surface. If you are looking for a versatile pot that transitions seamlessly from the stovetop to the oven, this is an excellent choice. **Pros:** * **Even heat distribution:** No hot spots while cooking or simmering. * **Excellent for bread:** Retains heat and steam for a perfect crust. * **Beautiful and durable:** The enamel finish is high-quality and easy to clean.

Very nice and good looking Dutch oven.
So far I like this as much as my old very expensive French pot that had to be replaced. Not quite as heavy so it is a bit more easy to handle when full. The lid is a perfect fit. Great fo baking bread. Easy to clean. The blue is darker than in the photo. Good value.

Perfect in every aspect!
I love using cast iron cookware. And I bought this cast iron Dutch Oven specifically for making sourdough bread - to my surprise it even came with a recipe and “how-to” booklet (along with the user manual for the Dutch oven). I ordered the sea glass color and wow, it’s sooo beautiful! I’m in love with this purchase! It’s not only perfect for making my sourdough bread but it’s the perfect pot for making stews, soups, etc. The 6.5 size is the perfect capacity/size. It’s durable and can handle up to 500 degrees (f). Ease of use too - with handles that don’t get too hot when using on the stovetop. All in all I’m super stoked with this purchase. And I’d say for the price, especially compared to other popular name brands, this is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Beautiful color
This is a very versatile pot. It can be used as a slow cooker, or a regular cooking pot. You also can bake bread in it. I love the color. However because it is cast-iron, it is heavy.

Great so far for the price
Giving this 5 stars for now as i just got it and overall by observation looks quality. I have the blue enamel and the inside is white enamel. It is heavy cast iron and nice size, i think id make stews and chilis, maybe soups and id like to try roasting maybe cornish hens. First time buying a dutch oven and noticed the edges that touch from the lid to the pot top are just raw cast iron so not sure if i need to season it. The box was a little worn and old tape so not really gift ready but for myself it was perfectly ok and the pot was totally fine. Looking over the construction the only thing that looks weak is the small screw for the pot lid handle. Will be trying it out so will let you all know how non stick and cleanable it is. Great for the price. If youre going to gift then lodge is the way to go.

Good pot
I think this pot is good for the money. Very easy to clean. My only problem with it is the enamel coating started to chip on the lid after only two washes. It was not dropped so I don't understand how that could be.

Very nice and well made. Love the cream color.

You will be delighted!
I cook. And I own earlier versions of LeCreuset. This enameled cast iron line is outstanding. I have this one and a sligihtly larger one in orange. First of all, they are so attractive that I leave them on the stove top. I'm also using them everyday, so that makes sense. These cook like a professional tool. The quality is amazing. Read the directions,,,don't slide them along the stovetop especially if you have a gas range. Those grates will scratch the bottom. I never dishwash things like this. It takes so little effort to gently wash it in the sink. They absolutely do NOT need high heat. I'm able to turn down the heat and I use these smaller ones on low, or a maximum of medium. For the few times when food has gotten stuck, I add a little dish soap and water. Then I put it back on the stovetop on a low to medium heat for 5 minutes. Easy. Nothing sticks for long. These are substantial...at least as heavy as LeCreuset. But I'm an older, small woman and I have zero problems moving these around. I took a chance on these because LeCreuset has priced themselves out of the market as far as I'm concerned. Don't know who "Nuovva" is, but they are the equal to, or superior to, LeCreuset. And I don't know anyone who works for either company! All you fellow cooks out there, you're going to love these.

Questa pentola mi è piaciuta tantissimo. Stufati e ragù spettacolari! Il colore sfumato dello smalto è vivido e brillante. L'interno smaltato è da trattare con cura. Ottimo acquisto.

One thing positive to say about the Dutch Oven is the rich colour. It's stunning, and the pot is heavy. Is it worth it?? No. A few side complaints about this product is the lid is not a snuggle fit, there is a wobble to it. Then I read the instruction booklet and that's when my smile disappeared. In Australia's cooking terms, it seems we cannot go past 200 Celsius. On your page it states 500 Fahrenheit (260 Celsius) well that's a lie to consumers to buy it! It brought it to bake sourdough bread and 200 Celsius is too low of a temp. It also states you can not heat it without nothing in it! Again, to all artisanal bread makers 'STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND. IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY' and the shipping price is crazy. You're better off buying yourself a ceramic baking dish.
