The item arrived in a fairly understated but sturdy box, offering decent protection.SetupAll items inside box were labelled and instructions were easy to follow. One person can comfortably take on the build of this in 15 minutes as the design is simple and all assembly is by pushing metal poles into plastic brackets.QualityMetal poles are strong and so too is the fabric for the play pen. The fabric is really tested when you get closer to completion as more pressure is required to get the poles into the brackets.The play mat provided is adequate (could be thicker) and the dual design is a nice idea so you can alternate between baby design then a transport scene for toddler age. The play mat is wipe clean, which is handy for all ages.Pros- Strong and sturdy construction, believe this will last.⁃Additional metal poles and plastic brackets provided just in case.⁃ Large play pen, plenty of space for multiple little ones to play safely.- Zip entrance is a lot of fun, our toddler enjoyed going in and out.⁃ Instructions easy to follow.⁃ Travel bag is a great idea.Cons⁃ Dismantling was a lot harder than setup - a lot of force was required to get the first pole out. This also is what makes it so sturdy.⁃ Once it’s up it’s up so be sure you have the space for it and plan to use continually.

Overall happy with the design of this product and it is very easy to put together. However when assembling it I have noticed that part of the stitching has come loose in one corner. I bought this playpen based on its excellent reviews as well as a very competitive price so slightly disappointed in the end result.

Good value for money specifically with mattress

The Rafairy Baby Playpen is surprisingly big and easy to open. It comes with XPE, anti-collision foam mat. It is ideal for restless crawling babies, just put the toys inside, close the zip and you can do your chores, just keeping an eye on them but kind off hands free situation.My niece’s kid stays and plays for about 20-30 minutes, and she says is a big win, she can have coffee in peace. It folds up in a traveling bag, with handles for easy storage and moving around.Overall my niece is very happy with the playpen Iand would recommend it.

This is a great size and quality for the price. It comes with 2 little rubber rings for baby to pull themselves up to standing, a double sided playmat that is a good thickness and wipe clean, plus a little door in and out that can only be opened from the outside. It’s tall enough that a toddler or baby couldn’t get out, but low enough an adult can step over to climb in. There is plenty of room for toys and a play date in there too, so won’t be cramped like using a travel cot can do.The top bars are slightly padded so I have no concerns about baby accidentally hurting themselves on it. There are also suction cups on the bottom corners so if you’re using it on tiles or laminate you can stick it down to prevent it slipping about as well.The reason this isn’t a 5* for me though is that it is not something you can collapse down and up quickly or easily each day. You have to completely assemble and disassemble each time. The impression I got from the storage bag included was it could fold away a bit like a travel cot, but it doesn’t. As it is so sturdy too it’s not the easiest to pop apart, as the fixtures are fairly stiff. After you have taken it apart all pieces bar the mat do fit in the travel bag, I just would have liked it a lot more if you could fold it down each day.
