Instructions? What instructions? When I first received this I couldn't figure it out, so much so that I requested to return it for a refund. Eventually got it to work for a soft close on a box lid and cancelled the refund/return. It does work and the adjustment is very sensitive.It can also be used to hold a lid open but you will have to close it by hand.It does both, hold a lid open or soft close.Seems well made.

IT WORKED, HELD UP A SLAB MAPLE 36X12" FLIP UP CABINET DOOR! BUT THE DIRECTIONS ARE PRINTED ON THE PLASTIC PARTS BAG AND REQUIRED A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ. AT LEAST ONE OF THE GIVEN INSTALLATION DIMENSIONS WAS VERY WRONG.NOW THAT I KNOW HOW TO INSTALL, I HAVE ORDERED A SET FOR ANOTHER LARGER MAPLE SLAP DOOR.

I found that after installing and adjusting , the door lift locks worked fine. But 6 months later, when the weather cooled down, the doors were not staying open. I had to adjust the tension to get them to work in the winter.

Larger than expected, so i cant use it on what i wanted, but it looks and feels of good quality

Nice hinge, Better then I thought for the price. Just trying to figure which way I want to use them, I have different display cases So I am going to buy more
