Herb Martinez's Guide to Pinstriping Paperback – January 3, 2007

I'd have to say, this is probably one of the best books for beginners that I have seen to date. Unlike some other books, which will have some photos of execution, and a few of the finished piece, Herb goes into depth on what is in his tool box, proper way to hold the brush, and even an attempt to show proper brush "angle".I will admit that I found this book at the library and read it. I did like it so much that I wanted a copy for my growing collection.I hope to meet Herb someday, because I want to shake his hand, and thank him for his help in teaching me more about the art form of pinstriping.

I have all kinds of books on Pinstriping. Even books and magazines with just short articles. I just purchased this in April 2010, andI wished I had got it sooner. This book is the best by far. I have been around this artform many years and I pick up all kinds of information and tips every time I read one of the many articles. Herbis a super talented pinstriper, lettering artist, and author. This book has so much information. A must have for anyone, if you want to pinstripe or if you are interested in one of the oldest hand applied artforms in the world.

My friend is learning how to do professional pinstriping work. I was looking at a bunch of different books to help him along and I found this one thinking it was the best one. A couple days after I gave it to him he said it was an amazing book and after reading it for only twenty minutes he said he learned three new things. Now he has a pinstriping job. I highly recommend this book!

I really enjoyed this book. It is full of good information, but as with so many things in life, there is no substitute for practice, practice, practice. It also helps if you have a very steady hand and some talent. This book will not make you a pin stripe artist. But if that is what you aspire to be, it is a great source.

Historical, thorough, awesome. A few typos but they are not distracting.

Helpful book with amazing pics

Parte dalle origini con un po' di storia,poi descrive bene gli strumenti e come usarliPer chi inizia da zero come me e' ottimo, peccato che non ci sia in italiano.In ogni caso e' un inglese semplice ed alla portata di tutti.

Libro che spiega bene le tecniche e la storia, ovviamente si deve sapere l'inglese.

Consiglio questo libro a tutte le persone che vogliono avvicinarsi al pinstriping, spiega in modo molto chiaro quelli che sono i vari passaggi da eseguire per ottenere il massimo da questa tecnica......la mia recensione è più che positiva,
