Sturdy travel adaptors
A few days before heading off to Sri Lanka I had a bit of a pre-travel doubt about travel adapters. Would Sri Lanka be the same as India (where I use the standard continental Europe 2 pin plugs) or would they be deviously different. I really wasn't sure so I placed an order for these two travel adaptors. I then mailed a friend in Colombo who said I could just use my standard UK 3 pin plugs. As it turned out both Amazon and my friend were right because every place we stayed seemed to have a mixture of the three round pin plugs that needed the adaptors and multi-hole sockets that accept a UK plug. No place had enough UK-style plugs for us not to also need the round pin ones too. These say they are for Sri Lanka and India - which will come in handy as we go to India every year but have always made do with 2-pin adaptors.I was very happy with these. They're not too bulky but the pins are solid and sturdy. I am sick of throwing away EU adaptors on which the round pins have fallen out or bent so that they no longer fit.Highly recommended. Good price, good quality.

Need these for India
Worked fine in India. If you are going to India they are definitely worth having as although some hotels have sockets that also accept UK plugs not all do and if you need to charge devices when out and about you will need them. Quality is OK for the price.General tip if going to India DO NOT use your UK SIM. Instead you can get a local SIM (big operator you will have heard of that starts with V) for about £2.50 that will give 1.4 GB data daily for 3 weeks+unlimited local India calls. Take a 2 passport photos and 2 copies of your passport/driving licence showing the address. You are allowed 2 SIM's per person. We went on holiday with our teenage sons and without the mobile data on holiday it would have been a nightmare !

Last minute life saver
Just as we were packing for a trip, we realised our old adapters have gone "missing" from where it should be! Got it next day, thanks Prime and the Seller, saved a packet from buying a similar one at the Airport and hefty price tag. Three trips, various gadgets, no probs so far.

Suit Indian type sockets
Did the job, but actually wasn't really needed in our Hotel in Sri Lanka because the sockets were sort of universal abyway.
