This is a great guitar. The clear sure highlight is the mahogany. The guitar is silent but you can distinctly hear the shimmering tones. The guitar is finished in a textured paint that seals in the natural overtones and harmonics. It is equipment with good electronics, a delay and reverb blend. The neck is perfect and the frets are fine. You just may need setup and then it "gets up". Good pickup and controls. The battery compartment doesn't have a hinge so you might lose it. Great buy for a beginner or travelin man.

Fojill FEC-60, Mahogany Body Not bad at all… Most of the solid body or “travel” classical guitars have slightly narrower necks, but this one, as advertised, has a full width classical size neck; left hand fingering will feel right. The tuners feel smooth, and seem to be good quality. The neck on this one is slightly bowed. The action is not bad as is, but I tried to adjust it with the included hex wrench, and as I tightened the truss rod, it seemed to increase the bowing, so I put it back where it started. The frets feel quite good, smooth, and not sticking out the edge of the fingerboard. The color of the body is really nice; mahogany, a bit darker than the “natural”. This color no longer shows up in the product listings; I may have gotten the last one… The pickup seems to be an ordinary piezo type under the bridge saddle. You need to turn on the preamp switch for the knobs and effect to work, but even with it off, there is still a passive pickup output; this means that the guitar could still be used even if the battery were to run out. The volume and tone controls work well, and the tone control seems to have a very wide range; the sound goes from very bright, to very full and dark. According to the description, the effects include reverb and delay; this is not correct. There is no reverb effect in the FEC-60; the two effect knobs are for the delay amount (wet/dry mix) and the delay time (up to about 500ms). This needs to be corrected in the description. Also, this does not sound like a very good quality digital delay; at mid to high levels of delay, there is some very noticeable noise/static. But at lower levels, it adds a nice bit of ambience, which is a big help to the headphone sound. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised that I’m not returning this guitar. It will work well for silent practice, and I might even try it on a gig. Much better quality than I expected, very reasonable price. Also includes a decent quality gig bag.

I’ve been playing for 60 years. Played everything. For the price this guitar ( nylon string) is absolutely amazing. Frets are even, no sharp fret ends. After tuning ( it was detuned for shipping) I installed a 9 V Duracell and plugged in a set of headphones and it was ready. Height at first string was 2.5 mm and 3 on bass side. Someone actually set it up properly. Straight neck. Light weight. Delay and reverb work great. Each string sounds even. I just added an abalone torch to the headstock’cause I like it. For $200 I’m leaving my Gibson Chet Atkins CEC at home. This one is a must have for anyone looking for the nylon string guitar Absolutely beautiful piece Highly recommend

Returned the guitar due to severe buzz when running through an amp. I assume it is a grounding issue but could find no remedy to cure it. It could be a fun item if not for that

This is a great little instrument for someone wanting or needing a "classical nylon string neck-width" guitar. In my case, I've developed arthritis problems in my hands along with having large hands which makes it almost impossible to fret cleanly. To remedy this, I am switching over to instruments with wider string spacing. Even though I did give 5 stars for "value for the money", the guitar I received did require work. There were some high frets which had to be leveled and re-crowned plus fret ends trimmed and dressed. Wasn't a deal breaker for me because I'm able to do the repairs myself. Here are a few specs that were not included by the seller. Total length including strap button is 38 11/16". Lower bout width = 13". Waist = 7 3/8". Upper bout = 9". Body length = 16 1/4". Neck thickness at 1st fret = 3/4" and 7/8" at 12th fret giving a shallow "C" shape. Tuning machines hold tune on mine so are serviceable, but changing to better ones is problematic. The string barrels for the 3rd and 4th strings angle up towards top of headstock slightly and the barrels are slightly smaller in diameter than standard. Ratio is 15:1 Total weight of the guitar I received was only 5 pounds, 7 oz. As stated in the description, the on-board effects for Delay must be used in conjunction with the Reverb (?) control knob. The Reverb seems to work by itself, but only if the Delay knob is turned all the way off. It was helpful to find that, if the "Power Switch" is in the Off position, OR..... if the battery dies, the pickup still works when connected to an external amp using a standard 1/4" cable. However........ the guitar Volume control does not work in these conditions so must be controlled externally. (Handy to know if playing on stage though as I plan to.) The included Gig bag is better than I've seen at this price point and has more padding and even a Neck cradle with securing strap! And so.... I do recommend this instrument and Fojill for making these available, with the understanding that they are not perfect, but very good for the price.

Great hybrid guitar. Perfect for travel, when you just wanna play quietly, or put it through an amp for cool classical tones to hard rock. The tone/reverb/delaye controls are great everything works perfectly. The truss rod is smooth and allows the neck be adjusted easily to the string height you prefer. Neck is straight, fingerboard in very nice. Neck shape is very comfortable tp play (thin and wide). I have short fat fingers and have no issues playing this easily. Just buy it.. It is crazy cool!

I've had this guitar for three months now and I love it. It is the perfect size, shape and weight for comfortable play in my recliner. I pick it up every time I sit down. It's the perfect instrument for developing finger-picking style, as you can spend hours comfortably practicing various patterns, etc. Love the 52mm fretboard. I was also pleasantly surprised by it's high build quality. Fit, finish and alignment are near perfect. I didn't even have to dress the ends of the fret wires. The o/b electronics are adequate as well.
