It was fine while it lasted
It was a decent bubble counter while it lasted but that was pretty short lived. It is made from cheap plastic which ends up being very fragile if your co2 is too high or if you have to handle the bubble counter for any reason. I had to fill up my co2 tank today and when I was plugging it back in I had to move the bubble counter around and that was all it took to put a small crack in it and completely ruin it.

Cheaply made plastic
I found this to be a less than superior product. The plastic is thin enough to snap the ends off- which I did and had to reorder. It easily leaks around the seals so be sure it is connected tightly. I also found that the one way valve failed and allowed water to flow back toward my regulator- thankfully I was home to notice before it ruined the regulator!

Bottom line connection snapped when removing tubing
I used this bubble counter for 6 months or so with no issue, but when I tried to remove the bottom line so I could move my CO2 tank the bottom air tube pulled off at the connection to the body. It's decent bubble counter but be extremely careful if you try and remove tubing that's been on for a while.

It's been almost a week and a half since I set up my Aquatek Bubble Counter with integrated check valve and so far it's been great. In this short period of time this product has been very reliable, no leaks, the check valve has not allowed water to flow past and destroy my regulator, the bubble counter is consistent, very easy to set up, and hasn't shown me any reason why it will fail. This product compliments my inline diffuser very well. I would highly recommend this product if your regulator does not have an integrated bubble counter and you're using an inline diffuser.

I moved to this bubble counter after having a bad experience with shattering a glass one
I moved to this bubble counter after having a bad experience with shattering a glass one.Unfortunately I have been very displeased by it. if you don't have it PERFECTLY straight up and down, it effects the size/rate of the bubbles in the counter. And even when adjusted to the absolute prefect position, it still gives a wildly inaccurate and irregular flow of bubbles. I checked it against another mounted bubble counter on a different co2 unit and it was counting more than two times as many bubbles as the mounted (and more accurate) counter. I will be sticking with brass inline counters from now on.

Plastic is very brittle. Both the top and bottom nipples broke off. The bottom broke off when I 1st put on the tubing. This occurred even after soaking the tubing in very hot water to make it more pliable. There was enough of a nub to be able to get the tubing on, however. The top broke off when I tried to take the tubing off as I relocated the CO2 setup and needed to dismantle everything. Save yourself from this one and get a counter with metal nipples.

Get a better One way valve
To begin with this thing worked just barely. The one way valve on it is very stiff and only got stiffer the longer it was in use. After about 1 week of use it locked up entirely and would not work at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I'm getting another one
Bubbles are small, and easy to count. The connections are 1/4 inch. Having a check valve built reduces having to add one somewhere else. Easy to open and it closes well sealed. I'm getting a second one.
