Smartwool Unisex Adult Thermal Merino Reversible Neck Gaiter

This was marketed toward kids, but I bought it anyway (as a petite adult) and I love it. It’s thicker than my other Smartwool neck gaiter and noticeably warmer, which makes a big difference in cold weather. The merino wool is soft, not itchy, and feels high quality like you’d expect from Smartwool. The reversible design is a nice bonus too. Fits comfortably and stays in place. I’ve been reaching for this one more than my other gaiters because it actually keeps me warm.

Had to panic-buy this when a 50k ultramarathon I was racing turned into a single-digit windchill, ice race. But it performed beautifully. I have used it several more times for my winter runs. It stays in place well and regulates my temperature well. I've noticed no smell after several uses. It is a bit tight, so if you have a larger neck/head build, pulling it up to your ears may not be very comfortable. It is soft but still has that merino wool type of scratchy feel, but doesn't bother me. Some stretch, but pretty minimal like most merino wool.

This works very well, kept my face and neck warm during recent cold weather in TX. Very soft and comfortable. Was not cold at all during 4-5 degree cold we experienced.

Warm but not as soft as I would have liked.

A buff is a necessity on any serious hike or trek. In warm whether you want something lightweight that protects from the sun. But in cold weather, you need something more thermal so it has to be very comfortable. This buff is great for cold weather, very versatile. Wear it over your ears, face, or just around your neck. The smart wool is extremely comforting. The fit is great, not too tight, not too loose. Tight enough to stay in the position you want without sacrificing comfort. I highly recommend.

Seems very warm and of good quality. I use many other smartwool products. I wanted a thicker neck gaiter and this one seems pretty thick for wool.

This was my favorite purchase of last winter - kept me warm without having to add too many layers. Keeping the neck warm really makes such a huge difference. Doesn’t get itchy, doesn’t pill up when washed. 100% wool and no polyester which it’s important to me! Well worth the money

I use these both as a neck warmer and as an impromptu balaklava if I find myself outside and it is colder than I expected.

Hyper doux pour le cou mais aussi très chaud. Parfait pour le ski, je l’utilise aussi en scooter.
