Yum Asia Koshihikari White Short Grain Sushi Rice 5kg

I got a rice cooker for my travels as a digital nomad and get the bulk of my daily calories from this high quality rice. Perfect for sushi, stirfry or just eating with plain soy sauce. I saved so much money from not having to eat out at every meal.

Koshihikari is considered the premium type of sushi rice in Japan, and while this was grown in Vietnam, it tastes exactly like the good stuff, and was enormously better than the generic sushi rice I'd been getting from the local Asian market. Nice aroma when cooking; nice taste when eating. I also appreciated the air-tight resealable bag.The bag as delivered also had three finger holes punched in the plastic at the top for ease of carrying, which was a nice thought but a bit of a miss, because you'd need heavy gloves not to slice your fingers open carrying it any distance.

This sticky rice is perfect for both sushi and mango sticky rice.

I have been searching for a long time to purchase high quality rice in the UK.This prodcut is it.Affordable compared to other competition products, better quality rice when cooked.we order every month.

Edit:So my second order seems to have rice weevils in them. I've never had this before with other brands and assumed it wasn't going to be an issue with this one. Had to throw the whole thing out :( I don't see myelf ordering this product again even though the previous order was great! Adjusted to 1 star from 5 ironically.Original:There's not much to say other than it tastes great in sushi, cooks well in a rice cooker (1 rice : 1.1 water ratio) and is great value for the quality. Would recommend.
