Great sound, beautiful finish, no regrets
I bought this for my daughter, and was initially hesitant to buy a fairly expensive instrument online, especially since the size and string spacing were a little different than what she was used to. I'm happy to say she loves it, and was playing it right away with no problems. The setup was good, the finish is beautiful. Most important to me, the tone is wonderful. It projects very well without amplification, and the pickups reproduce the unplugged sound extremely well. Very playable. A high quality instrument, and well worth the price.

Beautiful and sounds great - it's not just eye candy
A wonderful tenor - the little extra width on the fretboard does make a difference. The built in tuner/preamp works great and is a nice convenience. This was my upgrade from $150 ukuleles and seems well worth it. I had planned to restring to low -g and will eventually, but it has been a joy to play as originally strung.

Great Concert Ukulele
This use played well straight from the box. I like the larger Concert size and find it more playable for me than my tenor uke. The grover tuners are excellent; and the on-board tuner very convenient. Tuning and intonation are really good! I have not yet played this through an amp but will do so shortly. Overall, a great looking Uke that plays well and sounds like it should! (And the case is really nice as well).

Great instrument. Wood stain not fully finished so I’m disappointed.
For starters it plays beautifully but for almost $400 I’m disappointed how it came with spotty finish. I was under the impression lanikai takes good care of each instrument before putting it out for sale. Not sure how this one was allowed to happen.

Beautiful!
Baught this for my wife for her birthday. Needless to say, she was absolutely taken back by this ukulele. Just look at it... but not only is it gorgeous, the pre amp/ tuner is great, the sound is great, and they did a great job protecting it with the well made case it comes in. Kudos to Lanikai. Well worth the $ THANKSPs: Amazon was the only place I could get this shipped in time for her bday. 👍
