The Leather Factory Women's Lambskin Detachable Hooded Leather Bomber Jacket

I'm very happy with this jacket - looked for a jacket with a built in hood (in leather!) And finally found one! I was worried about sizing so contacted customer service with my measurements and they recommended one smaller than I had previously picked, and waited for me to confirm the size before shipping - something I really appreciated!! While his jacket is a bit snug in certain areas, (around the collar and the hips), I'm sure the M would have been way too big. For the price, this is an amazing find - it looks and feels much more expensive than it was. If I were to make a few suggestions I would improve the zipper (a little hard to get the bottom in - I really have to pay attention), and maybe add a slot pocket (so you don't have zipper seems running on your wrists when you use them - not the most comfortable) and also add the same liner that's in the interior of the jacket to the pockets (would be much softer than what they've got in there!). So... Minor things could be improved, but on the whole this is a great jacket and in so happy I found it here. Thank you!!

This jacket was the exact style I was looking for, at a reasonable price. The lambskin leather is soft, supple and of good quality. The hardware was antiqued brass, as pictured.The issue i had with this jacket is that it seemed to be lined with an undersized lining. As soon as i put it on, the seams at the back of both arms ripped. The arms seemed tight around the biceps as well. The tag says the lining is made of nylon (which has zero stretch). With the lining removed, the jacket itself fit well though- it zipped up comfortably, looked flattering and was not ill-fitting otherwise. Rather than deal with returns or upsizing, my solution was to replace the lining myself with a softer, stretchy, breathable material. The fact that i had to alter it was disappointing at first, but ultimately has made the jacket perfectly comfortable.The following measurements are for the 2XL and were taken with the garment lying flat.Chest (armpit-armpit) 24"Shoulders (seam to seam) 18"Neck to waist (along zipper) 24"Waist (along bottom of ribbed cuff) 19"Arm length (shoulder seam to wrist cuff) 25"Bicep 7.5"

Order in at least a size larger than you normally wear. I wear a woman's size 14 or large top, but the XL was a very snug fit. XL was okay under the arms, but tight across the breast, tummy, hips and back. I returned for the XXL, and it fits better, but could be roomier in the arms and across the back shoulder blades. It's going to be a little tight in those places if a bulky sweater is worn underneath. It's made in China and I don't think the seller is a U.S. manufacturer, so I don't know if they fully understand U.S.size standards. Or perhaps it was cut for a Junior sizing and not Misses sizing. Other than that, the styling is extremely cute and the leather soft. Unlike many leather jackets, this one is not heavy or bulky. Nice, buttery soft leather. Style is flattering, distinctive, and slightly edgy. Ordered two sizes up since reviews said it ran small and I prefer a looser fit and wanted room for a hoodie. Fits perfectly with hoodie and on its own without looking bulky (for reference, I'm an average size 8 and I ordered the XL). Other reviews mentioned a smell; there's a normal smell of leather which dissipates when it's removed from the packaging. It appears well-made and will look even better when worn in a bit. Very reasonably priced for what you get.My only complaints are the breast pockets were set a bit too widely (probably to compensate for the larger size; I would have preferred they'd been set closer to the zip like the photo), and the cord for the hood is also made of leather, which stretches when pulled and an uneven seam ripped out one of the grommets. (The grommet was easily repaired with pliers, and the replacing the cord is a simple operation.)

The fit of this jacket is true to size for sure, I normally wear a large due to a larger bust (36DD) but as a precaution, I ordered the XL and it works. It's not tight around the chest nor shoulders. The sleeves are plenty long, I'm 5'7, pretty average height but it reaches past my wrist. In a nutshell, the overall fit is great. BUT this jacket I got is not the jacket pictured! They duplicated it well but these are definitely different products. The metal detailing is not gold/bronze as pictured. It's more of a gunmetal color and has different zipper handles. Might be silly but the reason I purchased this jacket is because I only wear gold and this was the only leather jacket with gold/bronze detail on Amazon, In this style anyway. The stitch quality and durability of this leather looks a bit weak and thin. The ribbing style on the bottom and end of sleeves on the product I received is much smaller than pictured as well. Details like this takes away from the overall appeal of the jacket for me, Which is how most consumers choose what they want to purchase. Not sure if I'll return it yet, If I find something better then yes I definitely will.

I ordered this jacket on Friday night, and it arrived at my home (in Toronto) on Wednesday afternoon. Very happy about that!As for the jacket itself, well I read all the reviews and saw people saying it was too small/tight. I am 5'10 and I usually wear a medium in clothing. I ordered the jacket in a medium, because I wanted a more fitted and streamlined look. I'm very glad I did. It fits PERFECTLY. I may have been able to do a small (which is what I probably would have ordered had I not read the reviews), but the medium is great and I can wear a light sweater under it. The other thing I love is that the hood is removable. It's a simple zipper that you can zip on or off. Seems well made, and I love the look. I am one happy customer.
