Bookaroo Pen Pouch - Purple

When i bought one a year ago (2020) it was perfect. did exactly what you expect and was fantastic.Just Bought another these past couple of days and when it arrived i realised this new one has some kind of buckles on. I dont recall it having that before. It didnt when i checked with my old one. now it wont SHUT neatly or at all due to the buckles. The company messed up a good product. What you get with cutting corners. it didnt needed to be messed with. Who ever came up with this idea derserves to be slapped. If you wanted to save money cutting corners sack the idiot who came up with this idea. Honestly :(When you try and make something universal you end up making something less universal.

I received a purple pen pouch as a birthday gift. I was so pleased with it I ordered one in turquoise for a friend. I am so disappointed with the turquoise version. As mentioned by other reviewers, adjustable clips have been incorporated into the design. These do prevent the notebook from closing properly. My purple pen pouch is elasticated with no clips. It works perfectly, stretching comfortably over the hardback cover of my A5 notebook & the notebook closes completely. With the turquoise version the clips cause a bulge & prevent the book from lying flat when closed.. This change in design has spoiled rather than improved this product.

I didn't know a product like this even existed until I saw a colleague with a pen pouch on his notebook. I've long been using hard back Moleskine notebooks and my one bug bear with such things is that you can't tuck a pen inside. I saw this and knew I not only wanted but actually NEEDED this product. I bought two - one for myself and a second for my mother who, much to my amazement given that she's practically housebound, keeps a daily diary. I had noticed when I saw hers that she was trying to fold a pen inside her hard backed diary. This should help make sure she's always got a pen without distorting her book.Fantastic idea and a classic example of something I didn't know I needed until I saw it, at which point it was blindingly obvious.

I like the idea and will continue to use it for my journel. From the front it looks smart, fits well and feels pretty secure. The only issue I have is that I can no longer close my book properly. I get having the adjustable clips allows you to use the product on different sized books, but it doesn't really look that tidy other than from the front.

Fits 2 Uniball pens comfortably - might struggle with larger pens but perfectly suitable for what I needed. Fits into an A5 Daily Planner perfectly and looks great. Delivery was excellent - especially considering Christmas and New Year bank holidays!

This is a brilliantly simple idea for storing one or two pens (or pencils, if that's your thing) right on a notebook. No more bending the clip of a pen on the spine or warping the book's cover.The elastic strap is adjustable for different sizes of notebook and with minimal adjustment fits easily and securely on my Moleskine daily planner. Result!Unfortunately the product is let down by the materials. At this price, I didn't expect hand-tooled Italian leather. But I did hope for more than the cardboard-feeling thin stuff in use here. It's a shame, because this has the potential to be a really lovely item. It isn't that, but it is practical, useful and well-thought out.

Similar to the notebook ruler I recently purchased, this item adds another layer of value and professional sheen to my otherwise unruly notepad. There's lot of practical uses, and it does hold my pens and pencils and the band allows me to jump straight to the next blank page. More importantly though, its like a pimped up ultimate accessory to my notebook that is now considered one of the cool kids in the office!

I love this pen holder, I use it with my travelers notebook in regulura size or A5 and it fits perfectly. I've seen people complaining in some reviews about their notebooks not closing properly and that's because it's not mean to be used on one cover but over the whole notebook to keep it closed.I have used on my soft cover Rhodia notebook and it works perfectly.You need to consider that the elastic band with use will stretch as they always do, and if the notebook is bigger than A5 you will get the elastic band to start looking like if it was ripping from the leather.It won't last you a life time but mine has been in ise for months and still looks good.
