In my many years experience of cleaning cars, I've found that you can't beat using a good quality chamois leather to quickly dry your vehicle - and guarantee a streak-free finish on your paintwork. The problem is finding a suitable, genuine chamois that is reasonably priced. Many on the market are of inferior quality - as in: gossamer thin, too small (not much bigger than a fig leaf), a weird shape, made up of several pieces stitched together etc etc. So, with this in mind, I probably spent more time than was strictly necessary looking at all the pros and cons of those offered on Amazon, before finally choosing to spend my hard-earned cash on this one from Trainshow.This really is a lovely, genuine chamois. It has a decent thickness to it, it's beautifully soft, and it's a pleasure to use. It has to be remembered that this is derived from a deer skin. So, as you would expect, it has an irregular shape - however, this is of a generous size, which means I was easily able to make two large leathers from it, two small leathers, and still have a few off-cuts which I'll use for cleaning my reading glasses. As a matter of interest, at its longest and widest points, mine measured 37ins x 25ins (94cm x 64cm). I therefore consider this excellent value.If you've never owned or used a chamois then it's worth making sure you look after it. Before its first use, you need to gently wash it in warm water, using a mild soap - this will remove any of the excess tanning oils. It's then ready to use. After each future use, wash it in water and mild soap, leave a small amount of soap residue in the chamois, gently wring it out, and pull it back into shape and hang it up to dry naturally (away from a radiator or direct sunlight). Follow those few simple steps and your chamois should stay supple, and last you a very long time. I'm more than pleased with mine. In fact I'm so impressed I've just placed an order for a couple more (Christmas presents for my brothers).

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very nice chamois. Good quality. Doesnt harden after use. Remains soft. Very absorbent, shame the video doesnt give it justice. It left a lint when first used but after awhile, that dissapears.It is also thick and it is very durable.Very nice product to have around especially cleaning the car. Left it nice and shinny. No water marks after. And you can reuse this as many times as you like. I hang it to dry afterwards and it is good to use again

First off, this is a massive chamois! I cut mine into quarters and each piece was still larger than my old standard leather. I've been using it once a week for the past three months and so far it seems to be lasting very well. It does a very good job of drying, more so than my old one. However, it does tend to deposit little white specks here and there hence I'm only giving it four stars.

The delivery was on time and the driver was very polite and professional. The delivery packaging was not damaged and it was very protective. The product packaging was very good and hygienic. The chamois is an ideal size and not over heavy. The chamois works exceedingly well preventing water marks on my cars paintwork. It's also very good for house windows preventing smears. An excellent product.

Paper thin chamois - only recommended for light work

What a wonderful chamois, i think this one is the best i have ever had, a quick wash with some w/u liquid and now it's fine. Didn't mind the smell, anyway it soon goes and it's large very large and you get two. Great buy.

Fantastic product, very soft and is great for cleaning, polishing. It comes in irregular shape as its animal skin (deer). It absorbes lots of water, collects the dirt and dust. It's much better than fabric cloth which leaves dust behind and doesnt absorbs as much water. I used it for glass table, windows and mirrors. I'm pleased with it.

Real Chamois (not the synthetic imitations) do a great job of wicking away the rinse water without leaving water droplets. These do the job and do it very well. Pack has two chamois, though I can use just one to dry two cars in a row. \Be sure to follow the before-first-use instructions and wring out well when done. I hang them up to dry overnight in the garage where they are not subjected to the sun's UV light which will stiffen ab=mnd break them down over time.Well worth the money for a nice finish to the car wash. Will likely try them when I wash all the windows in the house next month.

I was a bit hesitant to use at first because the smell was unpleasant right out of the package; that is because it is a hide. This chamois dried my car so fast and without streaks, swirls, smudges- even the windshield! This is really worth the money; don't hesitate to buy if you need a really great chamois!

They are simply too smooth, and I'd not concerned about damaging my paint using these.It is very useful and helpful to clean my car. If you are looking for some good quality Leather that you can reuse and you want them to last. This is the best choice !!!
