Nice outdoor cat house -- even though my cat won't use it.
I ordered this cat house because the cat who adopted me a year ago still refuses to be totally an indoor cat. It gets cold and rainy in my area and I wanted him to have some protection other than bushes in the nearby woods. The cat house was pretty easy to assemble. The print on the instructions was so faded as to be essentially useless. In spite of that, I was able to assemble the cat house by myself in about 2 hours. It seems to be very sturdy and large enough for more than one cat (mine is 15 pounds and there's plenty of room for another of equal size).I started with this cat house indoors to see if my cat would use it. He investigated a couple of times but didn't seem interested. I put it out in my breezeway since that has a roof covering. My cat won't go near it.The cat house if not weatherproof. If left out in direct rain or blowing wind it will provide some shelter but will leak and allows wind to blow through it in several places. You can use caulk or other methods to help those issues. The neighborhood cats who roam seem to enjoy the cat house. I moved it to a covered location by my garage and have noticed that it's getting a little more use.I'm going to continue to look for a cat house that may suit my cat, but this one does seem to provide adequate shelter (if it's placed under a covered location) for stray or wandering cats.I like it overall and think it's a good purchase for the money.

It's Ok, but could be better
Took two nights after work to finish, but it was a pain. I recommend having help to attach the roof....be aware that some kits may or may not have some of the pre-made holes for the screws on the wood....you will have to do your best to get it right if yours doesn't have some of them.It is a decent build, but some of the screws don't grip the wood properly so you may have to substitute with nails or add anchors before putting in the screws.I ended up splitting part of the back wall while attaching the roof as it took me a few tries to properly attach the hinges with the given screws. After several tries, I got it right.Hint: If your kit doesnt have premade holes for the roof, you will have to carefully align the edge of the roof to the white part of the back wall and make the holes there.I recommend coating the wood wit some kind of resin to seal it up properly. Its not in the instructions, but if it rains a lot, it doesn't hurt to apply some.Overall I'm satisfied with it, but the instruction diagrams could be better and you'll need anchors or nails to get the pieces to grip properly.

wood is falling apart just being outside two weeks (not even in snow)
I purchased this for an outdoor feral cat. Within on day the door flap wood fell apart even though never used. It was like the glue that held the slats together just failed. After 2 weeks the floor boards are completely coming apart and the cat has not even been in there.

Really good for a cat house
Was easy to assemble by one person. Didn’t use the center divider. Took a few days to get my outside cat to use it. Had to trim about an eighth of an inch off the plastic door curtain. Plenty of room for a cat bed and two cat bowls.

It's okay
The quality of this cat house is okay. It was relatively easy to assemble. The wood is very soft, so don't try to tighten screws too much.I purchased this for stray cats. The one stray that has been coming here for the last 2 months, ran off when she saw this. I haven't seen her since. Cats are like that, so we will see how it goes.

fun, snug house, holds 2 maybe 3 adult cats (with partition removed)
My house cats were checking it out as my husband and I were assembling it. Nice to have a power screw driver - we don't, but we still got it together. Will block wind, but a bit thin on the sides, I will probably put a warm blanket inside. These cats are used to being out in very cold weather -- the thing that hurts them is wind, snow(moisture), and not having access to drinkable water. Looking forward to easing their difficulties. The feral cats do rather pile up to share warmth when it gets really cold.

Cheap materials
Looked great after assembly has fallen apart since then. The ramp, side door and porch roof have fallen off.
