Good value but broke 1st use
Pro: I bought this to go over my tent when I work at music festivals so I can sleep during the after coming off a night shift without my tent turning into an oven. And for that purpose this tarp was excellent. As it's blue on 1 side, and silvered on the other, it kept the sleeping area dark and cool(er) - at least 2 to 3 degrees. It folds up really nice and small (which is good, as opened out it's massive), and as it comes in it's own carry bag is a nice addition to my kit. I suspect if you were hiking and weight was an issue you might wish to think about something a bit lighter, but as a tent cover or (with the addition of (not included) poles) an awning/ sun shelter it does the job.But there are a couple of issues. It's only been to 1 festival (where, fair enough, it did rain quite a bit) and already 3 out of the 6 eyelets have come off. They're easily repairable, but you'd hope it would last a bit longer. The eyelets are also already rusting, so will probably just go round and replace all of them in one go with rustproof eyelets. The guy ropes were also knotted the wrong way so that they didn't stay "locked" and slipped down. Again easily corrected but it's something that should have been done right when it left the factory.So as long you don't mind maybe having to do some running repairs, it's a useful camping tarp.

Brilliant tarp, brilliant price
Brilliant tarp, brilliant price. It doesn't come with the poles (just in case you think it may) but pegs, guy ropes, bag and the tarp obviously. Very happy, I bought 2, one for the woods and one for the adventures.

Compact and nice looking
London's winter has been longer and colder this year, I can't wait for the BBQ season! This is part of the BBQ Project, a very compact picnic blanket. We have a little one, so need a big and waterproof blanket for him to destroy (and recover easily).
