Burgon & BallRHS Stainless Steel Compost Scoop, 31 cm Length

Expensive, but worth it, you only get what you pay for. Unlike the plastic version which breaks down over time, this will keep going. Well balanced and very light, does exactly what it's supposed to and is a joy to use. Excellent quality, like you'd expect from Burgon and Ball.

Good reliable brand. Stainless steel made to last and idea for the purpose it was made and bought for. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

As trowels/scoops go, this is tidy.Really good quality and a decent weight too.It's not cheap, but I guess you get whatcha pay for.

Lovely balance to the tool. Comfortable grip. Does the job of filling pots with compost etc perfectly.

I was previously using a plastic scoop and it had sharp edges and hurt my hand scooping compost. This one is great. Good capacity, smooth and works well. Looks good too. A bit expensive but it seems well made.

It has that feel good factor of something beautifully made. It is a pleasure to use and makes for much less spillage when filling and topping up pots with compost.

Is it possible to wax poetic about a compost scoop ? Well this one deserves all praise ! It is beautifully made, well finished and great quality. Feels nice in the hand and digs into compost with ease, such a pleasure to use !
