Probably the best trigger cast reel
Very good quality reel. I am a big fan of the trigger style reels for ultra light pan fishing and I have tried several different reels. Overall I'd say this is the best I've found. Very comfortable feel and smooth action. Can't speak to its longevity yet, but feels solid.

Good but not great
After I changed the line out it casts better. I use on an ultralight rod fishing for crappie and white bass. Doesn’t get five stars due to the reel seemingly catching and is not always a smooth lure retrieve.

More than satisfied with my Pflueger reel. Have it set up for bream and crappie, and would definitely buy it again.

Worked less than two days!
Cast great for most of first day and start of second day. Otherwise it would only cast 1/8th oz. spinning lures using 4# mono about 10 - 15 feet. Had to replace it with older open face reel. Bought and delivered in July for a September fishing trip so by the time I used it the Amazon 'return by date' was expired. Didn't expect this poor quality from a Pflueger product.

A great reel for easy fishing
I bought this underspin reel as I like fishing ultralight rods and prefer the spinning reel form factor. The reel is so fun to use and I usually keep it on a rod in my vehicle if I have time to fish and I'm away from home. I took off the original line and added 4lb mono which has been working great. I love how easy the drag is to adjust and the reel is just high quality over all. If you want to enjoy the ease of a spincast with the spinning form factor I would recommend this to anyone!
