Very pleased with this, replacing an old Samsung that we loved. This fits into the same space and was easy to install with all of the necessary fittings and the water filter included in the price. The water from this fridge is not chilled (unlike our older Samsung) so it's necessary to add ice every time. The digital display shows target temperatures but it does not display the actual temperature inside which is strange.

Do not buy this fridge freezer. Our water paddle broke away within the first two years and you can not fit the part without a service engineer or it voids your warranty The part alone is £35 They say it is accidentally although it fell away from inside the machine

I’m actually surprised this is on the market still as I bought almost 6 years ago and I doubt they ever fixed the ice maker problem you can read online. After a year and a bit after warranty finished (I gather now is 2 years) the ice maker just randomly stopped to never work again. I have been using without ice now for the last 4.5 years frustrated without the ice maker what I predominantly bought it for during these hot summers. Check online - lots of reviews about Hisense ice maker issues with no resolution and just paid extra for no reason. They know it is faulty but won’t do anything about it and keep selling it. So one day just randomly display showed a code EB. I called Hisense customer repair service and they charged £160 to replace the ice tray. Still no ice hours after engineer left and then the code EB popped up again. Was told I still get charged as they gave me a new part regardless if it fixed the issue or not! I argued and they reduced a little and we settled on £80, the part costs £60 on a spares website and just pops in after a few screws taken out around the ice maker. I changed the solenoid valve also which now costs £95 on a spares website and still no difference. It just makes a noise from time to time that the ice tray is filling but doesn’t. So they don’t know what is wrong with the fridge but wouldn’t fix it or replace it. I even tried pressing white good consumer laws that state white goods should be working for a number of years but still no luck as making ice is not part of necessary function I was told even though it is advert with an ice dispenser? I just use an ice try and manually take out and push the cubes into the main ice box now for the crushed ice. Hisense for any appliances and goods - never again. I’ve seen the quality and customer service and won’t ever touch them again for any product ever when there are other options. The rest is still working hence 2 stars albeit the metal bottle holder is all rusted after a year or so also.
