My five stars apply to KLIM's customer service, not to the model KLIM Speaker. Its speakers are poor (in my opinion, just good enough to check what's on a CD). But more to the point, I was not able to establish a Bluetooth connection: my car sent a code but the CD player screen was too basic to display it. I contacted KLIM about the issue, and got a response within 24h, helping me confirm that the problem was intractable. Marj advised me to try one of two other KLIM models that can connect through FM (they emit on one of 5 FM frequencies, and the car radio just needs to be tuned to it) : KLIM Discover and KLIM Journey, with very similar specs (and no speakers). I returned the KLIM Speaker to Amazon, got a refund, and ordered a KLIM Journey. Connection is not as simple as it would be with Bluetooth, but works perfectly well and the sound is very good (through my car audio system). I was very impressed by the speed, honesty and accuracy of the response I received from the KLIM customer service. Hence the five stars.

The sound is good, simple to operate and I loved the little, humerous cartoon that was included. Overall, perfect for my needs.

I have had this CD player for over 6 months now so thought I was in a good position to give a valid review. I use it quite regularly and find it convenient to play my CD's in the kitchen when doing jobs, the volume is adequate and the sound from the CD player is OK, but vastly improved if you use a blue tooth speaker. It holds its charge well and comes with the cable to connect to the speaker (which I use) rather than wireless. Very happy with the product.

Not having had much luck with similar models, this being the third such CD player I've tried, I have waited several months to see how it performed before writing this review. On balance I'm pleased with it. I needed something to play CDs in my car when the built-in DC player packed up, and there's no aux socket in the car hence the need for external speakers on the portable unit. Anyway, it serves this purpose nicely. The sound is acceptable quality, the controls are easy to use, I've had no problems with it. The only slight niggle is that the 'low battery' indicator only shows when the battery has actually run down, so you don't get any warning! However since the charging socket is a standard phone connection I simply keep a 12v phone charger in the glove compartment for such emergencies! So overall this is a good unit for the price and I'm happy with it.

These are very good, I got the Bluetooth one which can connect to my boom box speaker , but through headphones it is superb too, built in speakers are convenient and loud enough.high end cd player, also customer service is 'second to none' fantastic experience with them too.

I suppose you get what you pay for but, after reading the positive reviews, I was looking forward to playing my CDs on this as both my CD players had packed up at the same time. What a dreadful sound it produces, very tinny & trebley & no bass to speak of at all. I have returned it & ordered a Panasonic system. Cannot think why anybody would write a positive review as even the speaker in my Samsung phone has a better sound quality than this.

Not ideal for a dementia sufferer but a carer can operate it for them. The speaker is really good & to have option of headphones, perfect. Good charge
