I’ve been looking everywhere for these, it was very common for dry cleaners to use them years back and all of the ones that I had saved wore out over the last 20 years. I was thrilled when I found these on Amazon! They were so reasonably priced and all of the reviews were hit or miss, so I decided to give them a try. The most important thing to know about this product is that before they are placed on a hanger, they must be GENTLY stretched. Like the ones I had, they are made out of exceptionally thin foam and can be very vulnerable if not stretched first. If you give it a gentle stretch and put the hanger through the hole in the middle first and then gently pull the sides over one at a time, they do not break. Also, be sure that it is on securely at the bottom and on the sides before going to the next one. I know they won’t last forever, but I really needed these for a trip we are taking in a few days and am glad to have them back in my closet. You get a ton for your money and if they are used properly, it’s a great value! Highly Recommend.

Absolutely none of these were manufactured correctly. All had ends and center hole for hanger hook that were not aligned properly. The ends of this very sheer pieces of foam seem to be sealed together by burning the plastic like material of which they are made. In about 15% an end was not sealed at all and therefore not usable. In 100% i had to poke a hole in the correct place for the hanger hook. Because of the very flimsy material, the defects and the tension required to hold these on the hangers, I don’t see them lasting more than a few instances of putting clothes on and taking clothes off hangers. Amazon should not sell this product.

I initially came in contact with these foam covers from my dry cleaners. I loved how the clothing didn't slip off the hanger & the tension of the foam over the hanger prevented lines. I use the plastic type of hangers you see in the department store. After a move (and away from my dry cleaners) I had given up on these until I started researching. I ordered the 40 pack of green foamies. They are a bit fragile - as the sheet of foam is thin. I have put them on about 15 hangers so far and only one has broken. They last several years - I have had some at least that long. I will purchase again.

As others have mentioned, it's important to steam these. Don't mess with the rice cooker business. I just removed the plastic wrap, and chucked the whole bundle in the dryer on the refresh with steam setting for 15 minutes. Done and dusted, ready to use. That being said, there are a few in each pack that are unusable, for various reasons (or rip right away), so keep that in mind. These are cheap, and they're meant to be. If the hole isn't centered, you can just poke a new one with the hanger end, and it will be fine. They do exactly what I need them to do. They will fit your basic wire hangers. They will NOT fit the larger size wire hangers that sometimes come from the cleaners.

Keeps your shirts and blouses from slipping off the hangers. Stretches to all sizes of hangers. A must have in my home.

Almost a fourth of the order is unusable. One end is completely straight and would not fit on the end of a hanger OR have no center hole or the hole is badly torn. I can’t return them as I steamed and separated them. I have used similar products in the past and have never had to steam them or had such poor quality. I would hope I will receive some compensation for this.

The ends were not glued or sealed evenly so didn't have a good grip on plastic hangers. I'm not sure you can tell that from the pictures. They seem to work okay on wire hangers but I am not please they don't stay on the plastic hangers which I primarily use. I did follow the steaming instructions and they did truely expand as the instructions indicated they would. However, I would recommend them to anyone unless you only use wire hangers.

Love these foam covers fit well on reg hangers without causing wrinkles or shoulder marks and clothes stay on the hangers and not the floor
