Great product for cleaning glass door. I recommend this.

VERY easy to use, and works well!! Other wood stove glass cleaners looked highly toxic and required gloves to use. This is non-toxic and works really well. I read the reviews that said to let it sit for 15 minutes (which I was willing to do since it was non-toxic, as long as it worked!), but this cleaned my glass immediately: spray on, wipe off!! Highly recommend.

This does an ok job, unless the soot is heavier. I clean the glass everyday on my wood fireplace insert, and leave this product on for at least 10 minutes. It still does not remove everything and what it does remove needs to rubbed very hard.I tried another brand which has some silicon in it, seems to work a little better.

I assumed I was going to have to scrub or something. I also assumed I needed more than I did. Both of those assumptions were very wrong and after using too much on the first of four fireplace doors, I learned to use less of the product and just let it do its thing. I used to dread cleaning fireplace doors and now I'm going to clean them at the end of each season, and maybe in the middle of the season if they are getting dirty again.

To clean the glass door on my fireplace insert I have always used water and a green scrub pad. This works, but often requires a lot of scrubbing. I was hoping this product would reduce the scrubbing time, but found it not much better or the same as plain water. I tried letting it sit on the glass for 20 minutes, but this was only marginally effective. I would not recommend this product.

Iv used it twice now on my wood fireplace glass, it definitely helps but it left a lot of the fine stuff on the glass

I finally figured out how to use this product effectively, and now I LOVE it! Initially, I was spraying on and then immediately - or within a few minutes - trying to clean off the glass. Don't bother. The trick is to spray liberally and the LET IT SIT. For 15-20+ minutes. Seriously. Then, and only then, the soot will EASILY wipe off with the wetted sponge. It may take a little more elbow grease and the scrubbing side of the sponge to get more thick areas off but you should be able to get them, too. (If not, find a stronger product.) Now that I have figured out this trick, my glass is clean in a few wipes. I clean often, but with the ease of cleaning after letting the product sit for several minutes, it is so easy to do!

There are better products out there. Requires multiple (6-8) applications, and a lot of scrubbing with a nylon pad, to clean the glass on my Buck stove, after one fire and burning only hardwood.
