Large 3-Layer Suture Pad w/Wounds (7x5") – Handmade in Brooklyn, USA

Pros: Allowed me to practice suturing different shapes. It is also a much bigger suture pad then most on the market.Cons: Many of the "incisions" tore after a few uses making them in usable. I mainly wanted this pad to practice intradermal patterns and it quickly became unusable for that.

I’m currently a medical student learning about sutures and this is by far the most realistic pad to practice my stitching on. I’ll recommend this product to anyone looking to practice their surgical skills with closures. The education material is also a bonus. Great product and fast shipping!!

I do not typically leave negative reviews but I am leaving this review in case it saves anyone else from buying this product. I was extremely disappointed with this product. I have no idea why there are any 5-star reviews - perhaps they received a different product than I did. The suture pad is neither "tough" nor "realistic" as described by this seller. Low quality rubber that shreds and rips extremely easily. Just picking up one edge gently with standard forceps will cause the pad to shred before placing a needle with the needle driver. Not realistic at all. I will now have to purchase another suture pad - what a huge waste of money!

I'm extremely impressed by the high quality and durability of this product. It is an excellent kit for any medical provider to learn or improve his or her suturing skills.

I am a third year medical student on my surgery rotation. This product has been great in order for me to practice my suturing and allowing me to feel more confident.

I've had this product for 20 minutes, 20 minutes.... and In that time I've attempted to close the little port holes with a buried figure 8, (the garbage suture kit has been its own separate problem) and I've attempted such just a few times, and somehow already, it's splitting apart, it doesn't heal itself back , it just splits and stays split, I can't imagine any part of this device is tenable for more than a few attempts each. I feel like I wasted my money, this thing is worthless.

doesnt dry up and get hard, a little over priced

Super lifelike, easy to use, durable. Would definitely recommend to the medical students practicing their suture technique. Online instructional videos were nice and helpful.
