WellBake - Baking Made Easy - Silicone Baking Mat 37 x 27cm TWIN Pack

This was my first foray into using silicone baking mats instead of using baking paper and the likes.This is really an amazing advance in practical basic equipment for anyone who spends any time at all in the kitchen.I use mine for nearly everything .As a liner for my baking sheets for biscuits,cakes ,flapjacks ect.Mat for rolling my pastry out on.Liner for roasting my veg, potatoes.These are grease proof so more biscuits or cakes sticking to the baking paper ,everything just slides off with ease.Heat resistant up to 230 degrees.Very hard-wearing and so easy to clean.I would and have recommended these to everyone that will listen.

I'm gradually adapting to silicone bakeware. Oh why did I wait so long to get a baking sheet roll? Made croissants (still experimenting with recipes). No greasing, no sticking, perfect bake. Utter utter dream!Althought the picture seems to indicate a heavily raised patterned surface this is just a trick of the light- it's almost flat (and smooth on the other side). It washed easily.I picked a  Faringdon Collection Bakers Pride Non Stick Baking Sheet 41x30cm  as the solid under tray- this thing is so big you actually have to slot it into the oven like a shelf- but it worked with croissants, allowing plenty of circulation at the back.Superb!

I love this mat. I've used it for roasting sweet potatoes which, even on a non stick tray, usuall weld to the surface and risk disintegrating when I turn them. Not with this mat - no sticking at all. Sausages were the same story. Bread slid off the surface as did my daughters boiled sweet venture. Like many other reviews, I wish I bought it years ago. I'll never roast another potato without this underneath to ensure they turn like a dream and don't fall apart when I take a fork or tongs to them. Am now thinking of ordering another one for when I cook rice so that I can cut it to the size of my saucepan base to prevent the rice sticking to the bottom. I've also read that silicone is less toxic than usual Teflon coating - hope that's true...

I find them very useful, especially having two simultaneously. For me size is perfect. Use them for baking cookies, patties, vega burgers, as well as for non-bake bites. In my opinion, quality of mats is high quality (it is understandable when you touch and hold it).

Arrived before due date. I have used it several times already. As someone said in their review it does give off a slight smell at first but washed straight away and it seems ok. May consider buying a smaller version. Pleased with purchase and value.

Should of bought these before now. They are superb and take away all that scrubbing of the pans.

Brilliant product, I use them all the time. Nothing sticks to them so they are very easy to wash up and keep clean. I am always very happy with this product that I have bought them for friends and family.

I have waited a while to review this as I wanted to be sure that the Baking mat did actually work. It works really well and have had no problems what so ever with using it. Nothing sticks to it and being Silicone it is great in stopping stuff sliding around!
