I got this book for my 7-year-old son, who loves baseball, and another copy for his Little League teammate. It’s been a home run for both! Watching my son pick up tips on the field and get better at reading? That’s what I call a win-win! Highly recommend for young ballplayers who want to sharpen both their baseball IQ and their brains!

Bought this as a gift for my 12 year old. He was instantly excited and want to get right into it! It’s easy to read and includes stories to keep it interesting instead of just listing “how to” which I like. If you have a baseball player I highly recommend this book!

Bought this book a while back for my kid. It is a great book but a little wordy for 7 - 9 years olds in my opinion. It has great information and stories. The simple tips could help a young kid make the next play, get the next out or make an incredible decision while base running.

Fantastic book for young athletes playing any sport. My grandson has grown so much in awareness in dealing with mistakes and losses and is able to self reflect better after reading this book. Each night he reads a chapter and we discuss the contents together. He is focusing on better nutrition and staying in shape and wants to continue with off season training. This book has taught him not only the physical aspects but also the mental resiliency that being a top athlete requires! Thank you for an outstanding book! We look forward to reading your others!

We bought this for a bday in February. No feedback from the recipient. After flipping through the book it appears that the 11 year old will really enjoy the fact filled book.

Gift for a 10yrs old boy…he loved it!

Truly excellent. Great reading for young players and new coaches alike. It has been a great supplement to my training through USA Baseball's online library and certificate program.

Purchased for grandson’s birthday. He loves it so far and is looking forward to using some of his new found knowledge. It’s not just for kids. When I received this book I had a bit of a read of it myself and learned a lot. Even noticed things I had read about watching the World Series. Too bad our boys lost.

Purchased as a gift for my son who plays baseball 10 year old. He was able to read and understood the book. It did help him learn a few things he did not know and also some of the all time facoeite baseball stars.

Really comprehensive book. Was a gift for my boy, I read it to him before bed some days, but definitely a gem for young baseball heads.

The book seems to be a good book with good information. Unfortunately mine arrived with an upside down binding and the cover hanging on by a thread.
