How long does it take to roast a chicken?

In my experience, let your meat ( in this case chicken) sit out on a plate covered loosely with foil, for 45 minutes to one hour! No longer! Then place it in the rotisserie for 15 minutes per pound! If, when you look at it it looks light color add 15-20 minutes ! ALWAYS USE MEAT THERMOMETER! Chicken has to be 165* F also rest it on clean plate when done for 15-20 minutes and that will raise temp also 5-10 *F ! It will be perfect if you do these steps!! Good luck
