Taste and smell is what I consider to be normal. There is no discernible, smell or taste.For awareness in the listed ingredients it includes bovine gelatin. This likely excludes this product from use by individuals who follow certain diets.I took the capsule in the morning with and without other supplements also with and without food. I had no adverse reactions while consuming.Qualitatively, it hard to judge impact from consumption because cholesterol levels vary based on factors but not limited to one’s diet, exercise intensity and frequency and stress. However, plant sterols have a similar structure to cholesterol so it competes with cholesterol for absorption by your body. In theory taking plant sterols can reduce the chance of your body absorbing cholesterol allowing it to be passed as waste which could reduce cholesterol levels.Based on my experience with this product I would recommend it to others. It is comparable to other products available from an ingredients and price perspective.

We take one a day for heart health concerns. A large pill but it goes down easy. No side effects.

For the busy days, it’s hard to keep an eye on getting enough Omega 3, and for phytosterols I’m not sure I get through normal diet the equivalent of what this supplement provides. So, this supplement is great for complementing my diet. Hard to tell how much of a difference it does make, in the short term, but all chances are it does help for the long term. No adverse reaction for me.The ISO certification of the testing lab is reassuring for the quality, though I would have liked to see a seal of GMP certification for the production facility, too. The gelatin capsule is a concern to me, a cellulose encasing would have been preferable. The bottle I got has a stamped expiration date on the bottom, and it reads November 2024, eleven months from the date I got this.

The soft gels are on the large side, but I still find them to be easy to swallow with no unpleasant taste or aftertaste. The ingredients are non-GMO and naturally sourced.

This is how it is claimed to lower cholesterol levels, by lowering the amount that gets absorbed from what we eat.The softgels are a bit large, but they are soft and smooth so I had no trouble swallowing them. I take one per meal after eating. This is advertised as lab tested, but it's their own lab, not 3rd party.

These are nice supplements to help maintain lower cholesterol levels. I have taken different plant-based supplements in the past. I really like these because they clearly list what they are made of and that they are non-GMO and organic. They also have high amounts of the plant sterols and sterolins. They are also made in Canada by a family run business that has been around since 1985 and the materials are tested in an ISO certified Lab. On the downside, these pills are pretty large and were a little hard for me to swallow. But, I have a hard time swallowing many pills anyway. With these supplements, you take 3 per day, so each bottle lasts 40 days. At $0.98/day, I feel the price is a little expensive. Overall, these contain a high amount of plant sterols and sterolins, so I would still recommend these.
