It has great value for the price. Could be better for the performance of 1,300 watts you'd exp
Kind of heavy but not as powerful as I thought It was going to be. With 1300 Watts It doesn't feel as powerful as a Makita or a DeWalt. Still you can't beat the price. It's really good. My advice for the 7-in backing plate is to change it. The Velcro is not that great in my opinion. I would just get one of Maxshine's 6-in or 5-in. Those designs are amazing by Maxshine. Cutting power is good. But I've seen better.

Good first impression but....
I detail boats for a living and have five rotary buffers from another brand that are work horses. Needed another one and checked on YouTube to see what was new in the market and came across a video of the boat detailer reviewing the maxshine rotary, the green one. Decided to buy it, when I pulled it out of the box seemed a bit heavy but actually is very well balanced in my opinion because did not feel the weight when buffing vertical surfaces (hulls) and smooth and powerful. But within a week a burning smell and when pressed against the surface it sounded like a train, I returned it, a maxshine rep told me that it was a bad bearing. I wish they fix the issue, if it happens I will definitely get another one.

Weird may be defective or refurbished but I paid for new.
Half of the body is loose. As if it’s been taken apart before or refurbished. The handle went on pretty hard. The box it came in, was pretty dented up and not much foam was inside the box to protect the product. Idk if I’m happy with this. I’ll show a video where it seems to be loose right where the seam is. You can definitely feel it loose when just lightly handling the polisher. Barely lifting it up, and you can feel the looseness. Don’t know if that’s normal or what.
