Prepara Chef's Center CookBook Stand

I was really interested in this cookbook stand as it has so many great features,including the conversion chart. I use a lot of American recipes and I have to constantly recheck the quantity translations from cups to grams, so the conversion chart would have been a great help.Sadly my stand has a conversion chart for grams to ounces in French!!! This chart is totally useless as nearly all recipes already include both types. Even the box shows about 4 pictures of the American/European chart (and not 1 picture of the chart I received). It is not worth the cost of sending the stand back for the sake of a sticker but it wouldn't have cost much for the manufacturer to include both stickers and the customer could decide which chart they wanted. I resorted to cutting out the picture of the chart from the box and attaching it to the other chart.The rest of the features are very good and it is a still a good product and at least I now know the French for teaspoon and tablespoon.

I ordered this for a friend as a Christmas gift. I looked at a large number of cookery book stands and this one had, consistently, the best reviews. When it arrived I was impressed and my friend is very pleased with it so far. So, why only 3 stars? The delivery was very, very, very slow; so much so that I sent an email to the supplier asking when the item would be delivered - there were plenty in stock when I ordered and I received the email saying the item was waiting to be dispatched but then...nothing - I didn't get a response to my email but the stand did arrive a couple of days later.I would recommend the product but if it is to be a gift allow plenty of time for delivery and if you are in a hurry don't bother.

WITH MORE TIME ON MY HANDS I HAVE MORE TIME TO BAKE. ALL MY COOK BOOKS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION AND DIDNT WANT TO RUIN ANY OF THEM .I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A COOK BOOK STAND SO I THOUGHT NOW WAS THE TIME TO GET ONE. I LOOKED AT ALL DIFFERANT TYPES FROM WOOD TO IRON, THEN I CAME ACROSS THIS ONE IT GREAT IT HAS A 360o ROTATING BASE, FOLDS FLAT WHEN NOT IN USE SO MAKES STORING EASY,THERE IS AN ADJUSTABLE BOOK SUPPORT SO IT DOESNT MATTER HOW THICK YOUR BOOK IS.THE CLEAR COVER IS WHAT SOLD IT FOR ME NO SPLATTERS ON MY COOKBOOKS. GREAT BUY AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO BAKES/COOKS ALOT

I love my cookstand! It just make following a recipe so much easier. I still get a little bit excited everytime I use it. Despite its small size, it can hold quite large books. I chose it mainly because of the clear shield protecting books from splatter and it's doing its job really well. I also like that it folds into a neat flat little package when not in use. Don't have anything negative to say really.

friend was very pleased with gift, it covered everything that she required.as yet to receivemore feedback on gift, as of yet not been used. as only just been given to friend

This really helps when reading cook books

This item has been great for using whilst cooking as keeps pages open, screen wipable and rotates. Have also used when reading books whilst sitting at kitchen table. I would recommend this stand.

I bought this as a present. The receiver loved it as it is easily stored away and keeps the pages clean!!!
