One Unique Feature not found in most other water sandles
I've bought a couple pairs over ten years and these really hold up. The vibram soles are excellent. The one thing I especially like is that I can wear with a foot bed to help dampen impact when using for longer periods. Obviously if you use around water your foot bed will get wet but that is a user function that can be personalized according to preference. The difference is that most water sandals are open in the back whereas these have a vertical support that keeps the footbed within the sandal.I've learned that a shoe can be good or bad but using footbeds can mitigate a lot of usage variables.I like Sole footbeds and just usually pull out the pads that come with most shoes and use whatever style of sole is appropriate for that shoe. Even shoes with little support can be turned into a decent shoe vs. suffering the pain. Classic example are docksiders, which often are minimalist so the foot conforms to the deck surface on boats or other slippery surfaces.

After a decade in it's predescessor, the Optimum, Still good!
After wearing the leather version of this fine sport sandal, the newer version did not disappoint. While I chose the non-leather version this time (good sale on it), I think it will serve me equally as well. Well built, good support, good materials, what is there not to like. I suppose since I have a wide foot, the older version was wider and fit a bit better, I could quibble, but I'm still satisfied. I'm glad I bought it again!

Fits nicely and has good toe protection for a sandal
I have used these for light hiking at the beach as well as for mountain biking and are comfortable and are stiff enough and have good traction on wet surfaces. The fit is near perfect for me (I like a wider toe area) and are easy to slip on and off. Only issue is that when sand gets into the strap clip it tends to not open or close due to trapped sand but not sure how you could fix that without different design.

Good, but v2 sure ain't v1
Jeepers. This is a prime example of a company taking a solid original design and messing with it to "make improvements", but just making it worse. Teva, ya let me down. The original version of Omnium is one of my all-time favorite shoe...v2 is mid. So what I like about v2: bigger toe box, mesh over toe openings keeps out little rocks, footbed is still thick and comfortable providing nice support. Not so good: follow the recommendations and get a size up from your norm; the fabric lining isn't as comfy, the heel strap and heel back just feel "low budget", not a big fan of the top lacing adjustment being forced in toe direction, contact with skin at top edge of adjustment strap used to be better. These are good shoes, not great, but good. The reduced price is more reflective of the value, so don't pay $80 for these.

Great closed toe sandal, snap closure is the trick
These sandals fit true to size. One of the best features I like is the snap buckle closure. Once you get the fit right, simply undo the buckle to take it off and snap the buckle when putting it on. Makes it quicker. Great tread and plenty of support.

Great fit adjustments and you can step in or out of them .
Best all around shoes and you can adjust them in all directions to fit you feet. Also are great water shoes.

Very uncomfortable & painful stiff back strap
Very uncomfortable & causes blisters in heal and sides from VERRY stiff back strap. Tried to replace an older pair, but these are made of a more “ synthetic “ material and very stiff like plastic. Worn 2-4 times to try to break in but causes severe pain. Do since worn that little bit unable to return. Don’t buy these! Not worth the pain & headaches! Very disappointed in this brand!

Rubbed the back of my heel raw
I have been wearing apparently identical Tevas for >10 years. These would have been my 4 or 5 pairs, size 10 and 10.5 mens. I bought and test walked 1 pair each of sizes 10 & 10.5 Previous pairs had comfortably carried me around theme parks for days at a time. This pair was different with the only apparent difference being lack of smooth & soft heel strap unlike previous pairs. Instead, the inside of the heel strap on these shoes feels like sand paper. I walked approx 100 steps in these shoes resulting in a raw heel. I cannot recommend these shoes until Teva fixes the heel straps.
