Fits the Dyson V12 Detect Slim great! Also loves that it, unlike the head that comes with the Dyson head, has lights so it illuminates pet hair. Perhaps not as amazing suction as the Dyson one, but since Dyson is ALWAYS out of stock, this one has a light, and it fits great, it’s a win.

I got this brush head for my Dyson V12 vacuum because I like the wheeled support. It rolls smoothly and allows for more easy guiding of the brush head, especially when cleaning under furniture. The LED lights are helpful to see dust that you normally will not see without it. This brush head snaps in just like an OEM product accessory would. The spinning brush roller is easily removable to make cleaning it easy and I have no issue with removing hair that has been caught on the it.All-in-all the product worked as they described, however visually, it looks like I got my device from the "B-Grade" stock. In other words, it looks like I got an "imperfect" stock item that would usually get sold in discount stores or outlets. The silver-gray plastic parts looks to have poor molding processing. You see uneven color swirls (see pics). Dyson products are considered high-end premium products, even their refurbs are expensive. While it doesn't affect my vacuum functionally, after putting this piece on, it looks like a cheap knock-off piece.

So I ordered his motorhead for my NON-Dyson vacuum hoping it's compatible. Short answer; it is Not.The motor head and the connection parts look just the same so I took a chance... The mechanism is the same, the size of the tube is not -but close-. Oh well. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Check your model and order the right one.I give it 5 stars as it looks like a good enough replacement if you don't want to spend more for genuine Dyson parts.
