Rothco Folding Camp Stool, Coyote Brown

San Diego Comic-Con is back and with it, comes the lines with long wait times. I wasn’t planning on camping overnight, I just needed something light, packable and sturdy. This one suited my needs. I used this for the Hall H lines (with no wristband, I got in Friday and Sunday, not Saturday) and Severance offsite line. It was easy to open, use then pack up into the back of my backpack where I put a hydration pack. Maybe I can even use it at Disneyland and hikes. This is great for helping you sit anywhere if you’re waiting for a few hours. Anything longer than that, you may need something else.

I got this instead of the as seen on tv one that fits in your pocket. I am so glad I did. I have problems with my legs and needed an emergency chair that can fit in a small daily back pack.. (bikers pack) and it fits perfect. I only gave it 4 stars because of no instructions or weight limitations. it just comes in a plastic bag, and not sure what the extra holes are for nor do I know what one of the straps are for, but I am 5'8" 165lbs and it is great for me,you're about 14' off the ground, give or take, but it is comfortable and easy to get up off of it. It seems built very good, weldings and stitchings look solid, and the bag it comes with is not a cheap piece of plastic garbage either. The bag is like a denim on the outside, but a protective cover on the inside. the bag would cost you the price of the chair(if not more) if you bought it in the store.Update:I have really been beating this up now for about a month or so. Found out the other holes are for when the fabric stretches from normal use.like I stated above, I have health problems that makes me in need of this item, so it has not been for casual use, but for heavy daily use and it is standing up just great to being lugged around and set up on different types of surfaces. My biggest concern when getting one of these was that it would collapse and I would wind up hurting my back worse and be in bigger trouble.I do not have that fear with this one, and so glad I got this one over the other as seen on tv one. GREAT LITTLE CHAIR.

The dimensions when folded (a trapezoid shape) in its case are 11 ¼” long x with one end being 9” and the other at 7” and 1 ¼” thick making it great for packing with limited space. It is rated for 176 lbs. and can hold more, if you’re willing to risk it. When in use it is 14” tall, and 14-15” x 7” for the seat. It is stable on solid ground. I use as a foot stool when I go camping and is excellent for that purpose. I am cautious when using it as a stool.

If you’re in the military or words, a portable seat is a must have in my book. This one works great, comfy, relatively lightweight, simple to use. The first use is a little difficult, but it gets easier the more you use it.

The weight capacity listed for this is less than what I weigh. I was worried about this when I bought it. However I weigh about 205 pounds and thought I would take a gamble. This little stool is very well constructed and holds my weight like a champ. I have no fear of breakage or ripping after sitting on it. I love this stool. It is great for packing when space is limited. Fully collapsed this will fit in the bottom of an average men's shoe box. I am not sure about using this for backpacking however due to the weight. It does take up very little space and packs flat. However it has a high weight to space ratio. So therefore it is not the lightest stool I have ever used, but it is the easiest to pack.

The chair is exactly what I expected & it arrived on time and I'm very happy. For some reason Amazon has this listed as "Problem with Order" but I had zero problems and am quite happy with the product.

I use this stool for hunting, I keep it in the pouch, attached to my belt, and take it out when I reach my hunting spot. I usually lean back on a tree while sitting on the stool, as there is no back, and I've had no issues with stability up to this point. I'm a 6 foot 230 lb male, and this stool has had no issues keeping me off the ground, and it still seems sturdy, I really don't know how much higher I would go with it. I'm glad I purchased this stool, it's lightweight for carrying, and very easy to setup. When you're ready to move you can easily fold it up, and place it back in the pouch for carry to your next destination.

My son wanted this to take to school for something to sit on. He weighs all of 125 pounds, so you would think this stool would have been able to support his weight and last a long time. Nope. He has had it literally less than five weeks, and it has fallen apart. Very disappointed!

The first time I used this, it was super hard to close the clasp at the bottom. Had to get two people to push down on it. Now I can close it on my own but I do have to put a lot of weight on it. I still like it because it is so compact. Folds flatter than probably any other stool around. Weighs only two pounds. Fits easily into a backpack or carry-on. Not super low to the ground like some other compact stools.

手軽に椅子を持ち運べて便利です。息子の電車観覧に付き合う際に、立ちっぱなしが辛く購入しました。やや重く、安定感も特別ある訳ではありませんが、想定の範囲内で満足しています。便利です。

キャンプの時の料理や焚き火など作業用の椅子として購入。フレームは予想以上に丈夫そうだけど座面の生地が伸びやすく長期間使うのは厳しいかも。

メイフライチェア、チェアワンと所有してますが展開収納が少し面倒でこちらを購入。このタイプのひとまわり小さい物は以前から使用しており中々使い勝手が良くて重宝してました。 座り心地は見た目の通りあまり良くはないですが特にどこか痛くなる事もなかったです。収納性は抜群ですザックの隙間にすっと入ります。ただし重くなりますが・・最初の組み立てにかなりの力が必要です。このタイプの椅子は安い割りに頑丈な物が多いですね。

場所を選ばず、パッとだしてしまえてとにかく楽に使えます。
