I'm not a fan of air-fresheners to cover up scents and smells and so an option that allows odour removal without needing to "cover up" with an artificial scent is welcomed. I had come across these bags in a similar form before, sold as shoe deodorisers. This particular set contains 10x 100g bags (plus hanging hooks) and 4 fridge packs.The bags appear well made and I love the fact that they can be hung up - it allows me to place them in positions where they won't get burried! They are also capable of being placed directly into larger pieces of footware and are currently on test in some trainers! In the short term they do seem to have freshened a coat cupboard up.I was sceptical about the fridge packs but my veg has been lasting a bit longer since I put one in the fridge. Fir use in our caravan to help with moisture and odours

There are 10 grey fabric bags with removable charcoal sachets. The bags are about A5 size and lightweight with loop to hang them up by. They look fine and blend into the background with the neutral colour fabric. I use them for the kitchen and little bathroom to absorb odours - not sure if they re working as it's hard to judge whether the room smells any better than before the bags.

If you have humid rooms, these bags offer a small improvement in the freshness of your clothing. I use a couple of bags per coat, inside a garment bag. And I've noticed they don't feel as damp or cold to the touch since using. It also helps to use a dehumidifier alongside it.The unique benefit to the bags is reduced odours and insects, by reducing moisture in tight spaces, it reduces the suitability of insects and odours to linger about.The bags are perfect for luggage, suitcases, small wardrobes, shoe boxes etc, but not for large areas.

Suitcases can smell fusty and musty, well mine do - it's all that dirty laundry on the way back from holiday. We arrive at the resort with our cases smelling of nothing, but two weeks later when we get home they have that characteristic dirty washing smell, so I have to leave the cases open to air for a few days before putting them back in the loft. Irritating. I'm hoping that a couple of these bags in the case will eliminate, or at least reduce, the mustiness.Charcoal is a natural absorber of moisture and odour (hence charcoal tablets to help absorb 'stomach' gas). Moisture is what causes most unpleasant odours so I'm hoping that a bag or two in my 'dirty washing' suitcase will do the trick.The listing says all you need to do is place the bags in direct sunlight for a couple of hours per month to 'recharge' them. I've looked into it and it seems it's the UV light in sunlight that does the trick though it may take a bit longer in the winter, but I still don't know if you have to take the charcoal bags out of the burlap bag first - that's what I'll do as it seems to make sense to me. The listing says that recharging them like this should make them last for about two years, if this is correct then that's a real win.I'll also pop these bags in wardrobes, and one in my vegetable cupboard - hopefully my potatoes and onions will keep better in a slightly drier atmosphere.They're small and unobtrusive, easy to use and won't take up much room so hopefully will help keep wardrobes, cupboards and suitcases dry and odour free.At £15.49 for ten bags (as at 14 November 2023) if they work as I hope then they're money well spent. Only time will tell. Worth a try.

I got the 7 count (pack of 2) and received 10 bags and 4 fridge deodorisers. The bags work very well, and so do the fridge deodorisers. They all came in a sealed plastic bag so they are ready to use. They are well sewn with an inner bag of charcoal contained in an opening bag with a button closure and a hanging loop. They don't have a smell to them (obviously, as they adsorb smells!)The instructions, I think, (before they disappeared off the page) said to recharge them in direct sunlight for a couple of hours every month. I think this means you take it out of the outer bag first, it's the UV light and heat that reactivates the charcoal. Not sure how you manage this in the current weather though. They should last 2 years doing this. If you don't do this, they will stop working when there is no more adsorbing area. You need to keep any you are not using in a sealed bag otherwise they will be working and adsorbing and wicking moisture.I find they work very well in the sealed fridge. I put one in the salad drawer and one in the fridge area. In larger open areas, obviously they will not work instantly, or as effectively, but I find they do work.

I purchased these to get some funk out of my closets, and they have worked as intended. The hook they come with works well with the bar in my closet, so hanging then is simple. I also threw some in my car and it has taken care of lingering smells.

i have used other Charcoal products to help remover Odor from a variety of unwanted smells/ toxins and know them to actually work.so was glad to give these a try.they are like small sand bags , thats how they look and feel in your hand. but much much lighter. there is some weight to them yes, but not nearly as much as it would be if was actual sand..they have no " real smell " to them when you get them really. and you just place them in a variety of places you want to help reduce or rid odor.this happens by "leaving them there " to do what they do. it is not a " quick fix " by no means, but. they DO WORK! how fast , will depend on how much odor you want to rid of and how many little bags you use to do that job..i put them in a few places where i thought they could help and they do. They just work best if in a more confined space.. . like example is Shoes, you would put one in each shoe.. OR, if small shoes, put both shoes in plastic bag WITH one charcoal baggy . that would work too! Could hang one in a closet (they come with little hooks which is great.So as a rule of thumb, if you ask me.. the bigger the space, the more you would use. and be sure the space can close in, like a cupboard under the sink for example.I really like these. and i love how you can regenerate them, but only problem is.. i live in place where in winter, do do not get allot of sun, so , its not so practical for me in winter.. not as of yet anyhow. i will update if something changes but for that reason i give only 4 stars. But i still believe in this product / concept as i know it works.
