It's hard to quantify exactly how well these work in my situation (using them in shoes) as it's not really possible to describe smell, but the smell does appear reduced after a day or two of having them in the shoes however don't expect miracles.They seem to be hard enough wearing and pleasant looking bags and you can hang them in a wardrobe or similar for storage or as an air deodoriser in that area too.Plenty in the bag as well so offer fair value for money.4* due to limited effectiveness in my usage

It also helps to use a dehumidifier alongside it.The unique benefit to the bags is reduced odours and insects, by reducing moisture in tight spaces, it reduces the suitability of insects and odours to linger about.The bags are perfect for luggage, suitcases, small wardrobes, shoe boxes etc, but not for large areas.

I'm not a fan of air-fresheners to cover up scents and smells and so an option that allows odour removal without needing to "cover up" with an artificial scent is welcomed. They are also capable of being placed directly into larger pieces of footware and are currently on test in some trainers! In the short term they do seem to have freshened a coat cupboard up.I was sceptical about the fridge packs but my veg has been lasting a bit longer since I put one in the fridge. The pack contains 4 fridge deodorisers which are easy to use to reduce the leftover curry smells :-). These pouches look nice and tidy when used in the wardrobes. Overall, these are nice and practical deodorisers with multiple uses.

These charcoal deodoriser bags are very well-designed and look smart and contemporary. Small, compact and portable, they can be conveniently and discreetly placed in a huge variety of places around your home, office and car. The bags are constructed from strong material and the stitching is immaculate. They each have a metal eyelet and can thus be hung up using a standard hook, s-hook or coat hanger. S-hooks are provided.Because charcoal absorbs both moisture and odour, these bags are ideal for helping to combat a build-up of moisture and undesirable odours, and creating a fresher, dehumidified and purified environment. I particularly like the fact that the active ingredient is charcoal and therefore entirely natural. The bags can be refreshed simply by placing them in sunlight once a month for a couple of hours when better weather arrives. I am using them in my understair cupboard, my wardrobe and my son's (rather musty) bedroom. Very highly recommended.

I love activated charcoal deodorisers……I have bought many different brands and sizes over the yearsI have been using this set now for around three weeks, and they are just as good as any of my previous sets from different brands.There is no scent with activated charcoal. It is all very subtle how it works. I often see people who don’t like them, they don’t think they work, because they don’t smell a nice scent when using.I have used a stick on activated charcoal in the lid of my large kitchen bin for many years. The charcoal should be reactivated or replaced every three months. There is a reminder monthly setting dial, which you reset when reactivated or replaced.What I find in my large kitchen bin, is that there is always still a smell (it is full of rotting 🤢 stuff after all), but it’s an acceptable smell.I can’t easily see my dial reminder, but I ALWAYS know when it needs reactivating / replacing, because the smell from in the bin becomes intolerable.When I then check the dial, it is at the time that it needs reactivating, I simply reactivate (by leaving the block outside) or replace. And the smell becomes tolerable again……..I would much rather this than a stink of synthetic perfume type smells mixed in with rotting rubbish.With this set I am currently using the white blocks in my fridge and have one in my freezer, in my self-frozen onion box. They work, as they always do, keeping my fridge horrible-smell-free 😀With the larger soft bags. I use these in my wardrobes and other places, like the bathroomThe best place I have found for these soft bags though, is in my household’s footwear. A couple of us have smelly feet 🤢. The bags are placed in each shoe as soon as they are taken off, and left in there until the shoes are worn again. Trainers, for example, after a day of wear, can be quite smelly. Leaving at least one bag, in each trainer, overnight, we find, the smell is either completely gone, or the smell is really minuscule, barely noticeable.You won’t find that the trainers will have a lovely scent……it’s just that they wont smell, of stinky feet, anymore……until you wear them again that is.Consistently keeping these charcoal bags in the footwear every time you take them off, should keep the smell under control. I use to use a natural foot powder in our footwear, but once I discovered these charcoal bags, I much prefer the bagsI can certainly recommend these charcoal bags

My main concern with these is that the charcoal dust could leak out of the fabric but they appear to be well made and designed to avoid having dust leak out. Each bag is made of a soft grey fabric and has a metal grommet, making them easy to hang from a clothes hanger or hook. I tossed one under the seat of my car and it seems to be working as intended. I really like that they have no scent and absorb odor rather than masking it with artificial smells.

I purchased these to get some funk out of my closets, and they have worked as intended. The hook they come with works well with the bar in my closet, so hanging then is simple. I also threw some in my car and it has taken care of lingering smells.

I wanted to get some charcoal pouches to help minimize odors and decided on this 12 pack because it has 2 different sizes. The larger packs are good to use in closets and the smaller packs are great for gym bags, cars, or smaller spaces. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the bags. They are sturdy and I expect they should last a long time. I had 1 bag that had loose stitches on 1 corner, but it was still enough to keep the charcoal securely inside.
