This multi-use organizer works great for organizing mail and desk items. It has interesting wood grain and the design is attractive and functional.However, the wood is finished rather rough (to the touch). The round edges are not sanded or filled smooth and the overall sanding of the sides are light. There is a small blemish on the back side of the unit received, but that is not really important since it will always face a wall.This is a rustic style that some people will actually prefer, especially for cabins, log homes, or rustic rooms.I personally would rather the unit be finished smoothly with a few coats of lacquer or polyurethane.

Sick of teabags and hot chocolate boxes, packages, and other drink related items floating all over our pantry, this will solve that problem.I'll have to take the time to organize it how I like, but the rack is well put together, not overly heavy so could be hung on a wall easily, however it stands nicely on its own on the counter top.The top slot is as deep as the whole rack, so keep that in mind, good for longer napkins, straws, things like that.
