I purchased this product, had issues with this product, wrote a bad review about this product, and then was contacted by the manufacturer (Ayake) via email asking if I would remove my bad review for a full refund of my purchase.I chose to remove my original bad review and have seen the refund processed to my Amazon account. I appreciate Ayake for actually following through with their promise to refund me if I were to remove my original review.That is literally the only thing I appreciate about my experience purchasing this product. If you have issues with file transfer speed being incredibly slow and freezing up, sometimes not even completing, then consider writing a bad review about your product. Also, don't feel like it's okay to be bribed into removing an honest review. I complied, but now I'm back to share my honest review of both the product and the company.Enjoy my feedback.

I have had this item for over weeks now and have been testing it during that time... so here are my thoughts!I've always been curious about these things - especially for my wife whose iPhone is only 8gb in size and she often runs out of space... when the item arrived, it comes in a neat package.Opening the box which is hard plastic - very sturdy, the contents are:1 x iPhone to USB external expansion memory drive1 x ManualThe manual has lots of photo illustrations and the instructions are in English - proper English! It's very easy to understand. Mind you, I guess it's pretty straight forward to use this thing.1. You plug the USB into your phone (Looking at the connection, the USB end looks like it might fit an Android phone as well although I am not 100% sure and I can't test it as I don't have an Android phone)2. Install the required app which is free3. Open the app and start transferring data!4. Unplug from your phone and plug into your PC and you can view your data straight away without needing iTunes or any other programs!

ZERO STARS!!!! I am writing this honest review again since all my reviews and pictures I posted disappeared. Very disappointing and of course Amazon customer service have no clue. Anyways I wanted to warn everyone not to purchase this item. I bought 2 and both of them did not work actually one worked for one day and stopped working. Please don't waste your time Lot of ERROR POP UP and stops working. I wish I can show u pics but again it all of sudden disappeared. They should remove this Item ASAP!!! Why would u sell something that doesn't work!!!

As soon as it arrived I gave it a test drive. It drives quickly well packaged with informative instructions. I have ordered this for my iPhone 6s Plus and it's got very limited storage so I'm always getting error warning from Apple telling me that I have to delete pictures/videos to be able to take more photos which can get very very irritating.This is the perfect solution for me as I'm not due from grade for a good few months and I do you like to back up my photos onto my PC as well as onto external hard drive's and this is such an easy approach to take images and videos off of my iPhone straight onto the hard drive and then onto my computer when I am ready. It's a really gorgeous gold colour and you can switch from it being an iPhone connection to it being a USB connection very easily.So here is how it works, once you plug it into your mobile find in my case the iPhone 6 it comes up with you asking to authenticate the external hard drive and then it asks you to install the app which works alongside it so there was no searching in the App Store for the correct app which is so easy and doesn't take up any time until the app was installed very quickly and works perfectly.When transferring videos and photos make sure that your phone is fully charged as it uses your charging hole to transfer the data to your memory card. I transferred nearly 1000 photos and videos and it took around 10 minutes to do so it was extremely quick but I did have to make sure that I kept touching my phone screen to keep my phone away and so it didn't lockI do you not have a bad thing to say about this price it's practical small easy to use and we just need to put in a little bag so if you do intend on carrying it around with you then you can do so without damaging it its brilliant and it's perfect for anyone who takes hundreds of photos like I do.With this I'm no longer worrying about deleting the photo video to make room for others I can transfer them straight across to the USB and I then have instant room after I have made space for new videos and it's highly recommended it's a amazing price for what you get and I'm very very pleased with that.In conclusion, highly recommended if you are iPhone users and you like taking pictures/video.

Finally got this to work so I'm going to change my one star to 4 stars. Apparently the software on the app store wasn't available on the weekend so the one I tried wasn't the correct on to get this working. I installed the correct one today and tested it out and now it works fine. If it wasn't for that problem I would give it 5 stars.

I am very tech savvy, and tried everything. This device just would not be recognized as storage. I did actually get my phone to acknowledge something was plugged in, but that's as far as it went. Waste of money for me. I hope others have better luck. Maybe I just got a lemon.

copied (should have done a move) all of my 27gb of photos and videos off my iPhone 5s to flash drive. It transferred in less then half hour including my contacts. It didnt give me any trouble....yet. Will see how it behaves. Taking more pictures and videos now. My phone can breath for awhile now.

I had all my daughters once in a lifetime vacation pictures on this and when we try to get them off of it , it either says there’s nothing on it , or r it shows a bunch of files with future dates that don’t open . An get the app that goes with it to work on anything . And we’ve lost all those pictures that are irreplaceable
