A Change Is AS Good As The Rest
I'm a long time Tragically Hip fan and as much as he's a fantastic frontman I've always been a little wary of Gord's ventures away from the band. Generally these result in records easier to appreciate than truly enjoy. This however is a breath of fresh air, a truly fun album that has both reinvigorated my love of Downie's unique vocals and also convinced me I need to take a closer look at the Sadies back catalogue.

A must listen from beginning to end.
This is an excellent record. Fans of Gord will love it. Fans of rock music will love it. The song Crater is as must have.

tragic and delightful
Love the opening track and wish the album sustained the abandon of the soaring track but each song has its own personality punctuated with a upbeat alternative tempo - appropriate angst and a glass of something else. I am hooked by each song for different reasons.Definitely for those who love Gordon Downie both as a solo artist and as the front man of The Tragically Hip.I am glad The Sadies and Gord got together - nicely done and I would look forward to what influence this confluence will bring forth in the future. sasquatchvo.com

Une sortie attendue....
Un des meilleurs albums de ce milieu d'année.....ouverture musicale à la Sadies, avec la folie de Downie....punk, par moment Lou Reed n'est pas loin....son très roots...

Amazing
Best album from Gordon Downie without The Hip. The Sadies create a solid, original that mashups great with Gord's inventive lyrics. Even of you're not a fan of the two artists, highly recommend this album.
