'Professional grade' generally doesn't mean much these days, but the peanut really does appear to be high quality. The cord is more substantial than I would expect with good strain relief, the blades are very sharp and the motor is more powerful than anything I've used that's a similar size. This unit is quite heavy considering it's size, plastic body and the lack of battery. Even though it's heavy and has a cord its quite comfortable and easy to use. The only negative I see at this point is the guards are quite soft and I had similar style ones that wore out.I would prefer to have a cordless unit, but the last two I owned each cost more than the peanut and the batteries only lasted around 3 years each. Neither of them were particularly reliable or convenient to charge either.

One year of use. Great product, works well and easy to maintain. A+ for the size, lightness and corded, battery-less design. Just plug it in and it works, no more charging. The only caveat: I wish there was more comb sizes included! The lady loves the tidiness down there. ;)

Wahl Canada! As always, your Peanut Wahl in hand down the best! Great for beard trimming, or a full buzz like I just did! Need to trim leg hair, arm hair, ear hair, you name it! This Peanut gets into all the little spaces to polish you right up! Would certainly buy again, can't live without mine.
