Very good knife
Great knife - feels well balanced, far superior steel than Henckels etc because it’s a skosh lighter and keeps its edge way longer. Very good looking too with the true damascus - very happy.

Soooo sharp. Recommended
Very nice size and it was sharp out of the box. I bought this on the neutral-recommendation of OUTDOORS55. I'm happy, so far, with the purchase but all should know this is not a first quality, BIFL knife. You will get more than what you paid for, but if you are building your lifetime collection, you should spend more. Recommended for what it is Update: Increasing my rating to five stars. I've had this now for 5 months and it is extraordinary. EXTREMELY sharp. SO sharp, be-careful-sharp. Great hand feel and perfect balance. Maybe it will be a BIFL knife? At this point, I think maybe it could be. Always my first choice among the many knives that I have. Strongest recommendation: but remember it is VERY sharp. Cut your finger off sharp, so be very careful

So Sharp!
Very happy with this purchase. Reading the great reviews got me to buy this to replace an inexpensive one we bought many years ago and can no longer be sharpened. It cuts through fruits and meats easily, and is comfortable in my average female hand size. Great quality, easy to rinse and dry after each use. I use it a lot and the edge stays sharp. Reasonable price for a great knife.

Better than you'd expect
I was surprise to find this knife on par with a few of my more expensive Japanese knives. The knife comes razor sharp, well packaged and nicely made. I did a lot of research on knives made in China vs. Japan. The Shan Zu always seemed to rate in the upper echelon when compared to European knives. Great Knife.

Excellent for the price
Very nice knife. Balanced well, and came decently sharp. I touched up the edge and it rivals any knife even at twice the price. Steel seems very good so I’m guessing it will hold a pretty good edge. So far after about 10 uses it is holding up

Nice knife
I saw a good review online and bought this. Is it Damascus? Well ish. The blade is a 3 layer sandwich with Damascene outers and a Japanese steel center. However it cuts and sharpens well, is nicely balanced and a pleasure to use. My only gripe is the handle material. If you have oil on your hands, it becomes very slippery.

Very Fine Knife
This knife really amazed me. The appearance, fit, finish, presentation, was all 100% 5 stars. Gorgeous. I would say be careful, this thing is sharper than Luke SkyWalker's Light Saber. Very very nice knife. Honestly, I've paid a lot more, and been disappointed.... For this price? This is amazing. I'm not sure how they are doing it, but if you are even thinking about this knife, just buy it. Super Nice.
