Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong.The time wont update.Radio function does not seem to be working.press search button it beeps but nothing else

Mine was the same. Just give it time and it will set, assuming you have a signal.

How do I turn the alarm off?

You have set the alarm. It wakes you in the morning. Hit MODE then ADJUST then ADJUST again. Hitting ADJUST when in alarm mode toggles between no alarm, alarm and alarm with snooze function.
