Popchips Potato Chips, BBQ Potato Chips, 6 Count (3.5 oz Bags), Gluten Free Potato Chips, Low Fat, No Artificial Flavoring, Kosher

First, I apologize if I already reviewed this item, because I did buy them from amazon a few years ago. I take them in my lunch, so I keep chips on supply, and the box of 12 3.5 oz. bags keeps me going for a while. The great thing about pop chips, besides lower in fat and no saturated fat, etc., is that they are crispy as apposed to crunchy. Lately, I noticed the Kettle brand chips are hard to bite into because my teethe are sensitive. Pop chips have a unique light, crispy texture. BBQ chips have always been my favorite, so this flavor is a win with me! I noticed the intro up top mentioned using masa (which is corn), and I don't eat corn (except on rare occasions). But the ingredient list down below did not list corn only potato starch and rich flour...so I assume there is no corn. Pop chips does make corn style chips as well. Another flavor that is awesome is the sweet potato. This price is comparable or a little better than my local store, though a co-worker found the 6.25 oz. bag for $4.69 at a local store. The thing is that pop chips may cost a little more than some other brands, but they also are totally worth the extra cost. They are something special. P.S. to this: Taste so good I don't always want to save them for my lunch...so that runs up the cost. I only would give 5 stars to the BBQ and the sweet potato....some of the others not so much, like the salt and pepper seem weak on flavor compared to some other brands.

I can not express how much I love popchips! I ordered 4 cases of these in different flavors. I have always been a chip lover, but had to sadly try and break-up with lays and doritos because they were starting to ruin my diet plans. But then one day my health conscious mother-in-law had me try these new brand POPCHIPS! They are all natural ingredients, not fried, and much less calories. I started purchasing them at my local grocery store, but became frustrated because they were always almost sold out. So lone and behold.....you can purchase anything on Amazon. So I ordered 4 cases of popchips ordered. My favorite flavor so far is barbeque. Can't go wrong with barbeque!

Chips were good, they tasted like barbeque chips. I am grateful they tasted like that and not like sour cream and onion.

Less calories, wonderful crunch, great flavor.

I've given Popchips 5 star ratings before but this shipment...nope. Either these are a mistake or they've changed the formula or processing or something but I do not like them. Popchips used to be like tiny thin rice cakes but crispier. These bags were flatter, harder, more crunchy than crispy. I used to love the texture (mouthfeel) of these but that satisfaction was no where to be found. Boo hiss.

I'm so very very addicted to BBQ Pop chips. I only really crave them after a really hard workout when I sweat a lot so it could be that I need a hit of sodium but for whatever reason, these darn things hit the spot every time (and it HAS to be BBQ). I felt a little guilty when the giant box of 12 showed up on my door, but I do share...(if I have to LOL) with my family and the pricing worked out that they were much less then they would be in stores.

What happened to this brand. Varieties got reduced to just a few before and now the chips seem to be rushed & badly made/broken. And too many perfectly flat/round unpopped potato discs in package. Also I received order on March 5th and best by date was March 8th.
