I rarely take the time to do a review. I am doing one for this item because I almost didn't get it based on some negative reviews. I am so glad I gave it a chance! I feel it is well made and beautiful. I didn't have any difficulty putting it together, even though I normally struggle putting things together. I highly recomend!

As Sandra P reported on the 72” unit, the 6 floorboards are about 2” too short, so you end up with big gaps between them. I had to add a strip of plywood to fill the gap. Connecting the two 3-foot sections was also a chore, a lot of things have to line up perfectly before you can fit it all together. The center support board has to be fit in before you complete the assembly (not after, as the instructions imply) adding to the complexity. 45 minute assembly? I don’t think so.

I just finished my first season with the Raised Garden Bed. I wasn't sure it would work, but it was excellent. The color (grey) was very nice; it was light enough to let the wood line show through. It held enough soil for the plants to root. It was sturdy enough to hold the soil, plants, and water, but light enough that my husband and I could pick it up and carry it to the garage after the end of the season. I'm looking forward to using it again next year.

I have a couple of FYI’s if you are considering buying this raised planter. First of all, it is not easy to put together. Unless you have rubber band arms there are several steps that require two people. The size of this bed makes it impossible for one person to hold the pieces together and screw at the same time. The most important thing I want you to be aware of is the slats that form the floor of the planter may not be cut properly. After we got ours assembled there was a big gap where they did not fit together tightly. We measured the 6 panels and they were all 11.5”. 6 times 11.5” equals 69”. See the problem here…the planter is 72”! I suggest you measure these sections BEFORE you assemble the entire piece. Trust me it will save you lots of time and frustration dealing with customer service. In the end they did make it right by sending a replacement but believe me it wasn’t easy to get to that result.

Solid product, bought for my girlfriend and she loves it. Little pain to put it together but the directions have a step by step
