Surprisingly satisfying
It looks like this product is currently not available.I ordered the PIXIO Surprise Series Magnetic Blocks Set as a stocking stuffer for my 9 year old this past Christmas. Honestly, I was a little worried that he would find this set too juvenile and uninteresting. But I ordered it anyway because it was reminiscent of Minecraft. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he loves it. He still plays with it, which is surprising given that there aren't that many pieces in a set. But there is something satisfying about putting magnetic blocks together to form different shapes. I may need to order more sets to build out his collection.

Neat Piece of Clutter
It was interesting to put together, because of the magnets polarities it had some puzzle like elements to the assembly. I ended up with the farmer. I'm not disappointed, but I thought there were some cooler designs. I went ahead and rebuild it into another figure, and I mess with every now and again when my mind starts to wander at work.If you like the designs and blind bags, I'd say it's worth it, also because you can just rebuild it if you have the imagination. It doesn't have much use past being a desk ornament though.

legos + magnets = real life minecraft
This will make a great gift my nephew, who loves both Legos + Minecraft. So the blocks are like the idea of lego, where you can make almost anything, although they look more in the style of "Minecraft" characters and materials, and instead of fitting together by clicking them together and using gravity such as with legos...this sortof almost magically just use magnets. So this allows for smoother surfaces and its really quite interesting how all the blocks just kindof stick together. So this is great for likely anyone that likes legos, and wants a new and different take on the lego experience. As for this set, you get 1 of 16 random characters I think. For me, I got the nurrse, which was one of the lesser appealing ones to me. But....I still liked it a lot as just playing with the bricks was the main attraction for me. For a kid building the character can be fun, and its easy enough for Ages 6+ to do, as these sets are excellent beginner sets into the Pixio ecosystem.I was really impressed with this...and it makes me want to get more of these and create more with them, which is a very good sign. Definitely recommend for both kids and adults, anyone that loves lego, building stuff, and perhaps video games too. Awesome. (and again this is like the perfect beginner set for kids.)

Ridiculously overpriced for a generic block set
This isn’t what I was expecting at all! First of all, these aren’t Minecraft characters or even pseudo Minecraft characters - they’re just random characters that, frankly, don’t even look much like the “character” they’re trying to convey. I received the “Rubber Duck Swimmer” and it is a joke. The blocks are tiny and you only get one character for the ridiculous price of $20?? I wish I had just purchased actual legos, magnetic tiles, or characters for that price. Save your money!

These are really cool- but expensive
My son loves magnets and building things. We are really into Legos and I thought this would be a fun toy to try out.I got these to have for my 6-year-old for times when he needs to be quiet or still but needs to be doing something when we are out of the house. They are great for church, car rides, etc.Our surprise was the faun, which is 36 pieces, I think. It's not the most exciting character- but we don't play Minecraft- so maybe that makes a difference in that. The magnets are a great size for a pocket or purse toy. I like other building toys for bigger projects, but these are for my son to play with, I just wish they weren't so expensive. For just being little square magnets, the price is really high for what you get in my opinion.

My kid loves Minecraft so loves this
I got this as a stocking stuffer for my 7 year old son and he loves them! Even more than I thought he would. He is a huge minecraft fan so anything pixelated is right up his alley. They figures are small and the box only includes one random figure. So don't have high expectations in terms of quantity. But he really had fun and built it and disassembled it multiple times and then even started making his own creations with it. Great gift!

Great creative building play
The blocks themselves are solid and the magnets click together nicely with each other and quality of magnets being strong is important. The blocks are little just so you know and make sure to have a little Tupperware or case so you don't lose the pieces. The colors are as shown and I expect these would hold up for a long time over a lot of play.My son is big into Minecraft and these look like a great option to build little characters and to give him some creative building play when he is bored and a great alternative to screens. Fun gift idea for Christmas or a birthday!

The GB&UT...
Good... Cute and colorful little magnetic blocks to play with at your desk designed like minecraft.Bad... Not that many. Only so many options creatively. Small pieces, not for small children.Ugly truth... A fun way to "fidget" and pass the time. Cute little add-on gift
