I had originally wanted to return the freezer because it was not cooling. I had put around 50lbs of meat in it and it seemed fine. Around a week later, my husband went downstairs to find everything was spoiled, the light was on, but the unit was not cold at all. This morning, I went downstairs to do laundry and noticed when I turned on the lights, the light on the freezer came on, I flipped the light off and discovered that particular plug was operated by the switch! The freezer is great! Glad I don't have to return. It is the perfect size for what I needed, Regret not knowing this little piece of info on our house! Freezer well worth the money.

Finally plugged it in at 2:30, put in an icecube tray at 3:30 for a test - they are frozen at 5pmIt said it takes 2- 4 hrs to come up to freezing temperature. Small, and unobtrusive, enough to keep in the living room as there is no room in kitchen or garage.It looks small at 19x22x33h but on the inside, it is the perfect size for me.It's light weight at 50 lbs.

I bought this chest freezer so I could defrost my standup deep freezer. Cheaper than some of the larger camping chest coolers, it made sense to purchase this to unload my stand-up freezer into this and use an additional chest cooler to get the job done.It says it can get down to -10F, and it meets the specifications. I fired it up, and the next day I unloaded most of the deep freeze's contents into it and kept its temp. I can not move it standing up into my SUV, so taking it to a destination would require most people to have it lay on its side. I can power this on my external power pack or a standard American AC connection. I have seen these in a RV as well as parks that provide AC outlets in pavilions. I considered unplugging it after I was done, but it works great for putting hot foods into it before storing in the deep freeze or making ice packs. Also, I have it running in our garage, and the current garage temperature is 85-90F. It continues to work well. I doubt I will have to buy it again, but I would if needed.

We love this little freezer. The inside holds a lot of food and keeps everything at the perfect temperature. It doesn’t take up much room on our patio and can be moved around easily with the wheels.

Unit is compact and super quiet cools fast. Buy it well worth it. Nice.

still not cold after 4 days. pkg was damaged. skid marks on side of box like it was stored on its side (not good for refrigerated appliances). no replies from seller contact, Igloo or the parent company. Returning through Amazon, thankfully at no cost to me. Going to Walmart Monday to shop for a new one. Would NOT recommend doing business with this seller/company!!
