Our big wyandotte has pendukous crop. Other chicken bras, which had velcro straps, rubbed her raw and caused scarring. I've purchased this bra twice, and it is non-irritating and does not constrict movement. As with any bra, reasjustment is necessary, but this is humane and durable.

No matter how many times I tried, this never wanted to stay on the hen. Even when her crop wasn’t full but still needed support it wouldn’t stay. It would get pulled to one side or underneath too far. I think its too small unless maybe you're using this on a tiny bantam; my girl was just a little bigger than bantam size. The straps already seem like they don’t have as much elasticity as when I first got it, and the bra never was able to stay on for more than a couple hours at a time before it got pulled to the side or off completely by the chicken. Using vet wrap was easier than this; though ultimately she didn’t survive having crop issues so now I’m also out $30 on a bra that didn’t work.

I have chicken whose chest is dragging when she walks. This helps a little. It is a lil difficult to put it on her at first, but once on and adjusted, it is somewhat effective. She is just too big. I probably should have gotten this sooner.

This works well for long term use.

I bought the larger size and unfortunately it still didn't work for my plus size hen lol but the concept is amazing and does do its job, just not big enough for my hen.

I went with the tie straps and a standard size which I think, according to the length of the straps will fit almost all chickens. I can also imagine the tie straps being a little more comfortable against their skin than the Velcro. My girl had/has a pendulous crop which has resulted in two bouts of a yeast infection (And yes, Monistat 7 works to cure it). She’s been in my tub for the last 10 days getting hand fed and crop massaged and now she’s on her third day back out with her friends and the Birdy bra seems to be doing exactly as I had to do by hand. My only regret about this product is…I didn’t think of it.

I was really hoping this would work for my chicken with pendulous crop but it would not stay in place no matter how snug I could make it, this material was chewed up quick by my hen (she really dislikes things on her so she would keep picking at it) only thing that has worked for her was a bandage placed by a vet and that is not sustainable at all, hopefully this can work for other chickens
