Meka-Block K-9453B Desk with 1 Drawer white

So, bought this desk for my wife as she is doing online courses and needed a place to be able to do her studies. Firstly, it arrived damaged, there was significant damage to the packaging despite a clear red label saying "Fragile", the corners were damaged but lucky enough they are in a condition where you can either paint them or buy some nice metal corner covers to hide it, instructions even though there are pictures, were in Spanish and no English translation, the glue that comes with the screws and screw covers was damaged from being pierced by the tiny floor protector studs so was not able to use that for the little brown pegs and the draw side assembly part was badly damaged (supposed to be one continuous piece but arrived in two where one part snapped off so had to use duct/fragile tape). But, having pointed out the bad parts, the table once assembled despite the blemishes, is a nice looking desk perfect for the small spaces. The tiny shelf space under the draw is perfect for my wife's books and table can easily withstand a monitor and a full tower sized PC as long as you ensure the weight is distributed as evenly as possible. So, unhappy it arrived in condition it did but one past those, it is a nice piece of furniture. The wife is even looking at actually replacing the drawer handle with something a little nicer as the handle provided definitely gives that cheap vibe.

I bought this desk for my son who has just started secondary school. I'd say look at the price and modify your expectations accordingly, starting with the rubbish packaging. Every corner of the table top turned up damaged, showing the mdf underneath the paint job. The white surface is also chipped in many other places. I would normally have returned the item for a refund as it is so obviously defective but my son was keen to keep it so we put it together. Once assembled, the desk is not totally awful and as it's quite narrow fits a small bedroom well to create a starter workstation for a child. It would take quite a leap of imagination to give this anything more than three stars though - it's that light and flimsy.

This desk is relatively easy to put together. I did it all by myself in half an hour, after carefully reading the instructions.It is a good and stable structure overall and it's a very good choice for a small room.It has plenty of room for a laptop and a couple of books and it's height is ok for an adult (I am 1.82 m).Came with some minor damages on the edges, but overall, in a good condition.

Good desk, but yes, you do get what you pay for. Note the desk top surface is held on with wooden pegs and glue, not screws. Also the drawer has nothing to stop it coming all the way out, and will fall apart if pulled out and dropped by your kids! If you need a desk for a small space, I do recommend this.

You get what you pay for basically... It is a smart small desk but be careful when setting it up, the white finish has chipped away at the edges showing the wood underneath, the draw handle also does screw in to place fully. Having said this, it fits perfectly in our office and looks smart- great value too!

Easy to build (single mum), took around 30 minutes.Looks fab and well worth the money. 4 stars because it does have marks on which doesn't make it look exactly new, which is a shame but still does the job. Will be using as a makeup table aswell as a desk for uni.

Desk is quiet good, for its price. Really easy to assembly. The only problem is packaging and delivery, top desk board corner came damaged, not too much, but you can easily see it, and other rough edges on white desk.

Great little desk. Easy to put together and sturdy. It currently has a 32" tv and Xbox on top with no problems. I have no issues and would recommend to anyone wanting a small desk.
