Detects from 15 feet awai in all directions
Works as advertised when it's fixed on the ceiling . When fixed on a wall , it does not work , it's a ceiling light after all , so for stairs it works if it's fixed on the ceiling . And it's strictly for indoors , when fixed in the basement , the light turns on even in the slightest of motion like leaf movement , car cover fluttering in the wind etc..

It Works
Itโs very bright and very sensitive. Otherwise a five star. If you want to use it as a night light which can light up a little when you get up in night, itโs too bright for that purpose. I mounted it on the ceiling in a hallway and it switches on even when there is a little movement around. Donโt know how it detects but it can detect things which are not even in line of sight. They should provide more details on the specification.

Received 2 instead of 4
The product listing and my order both clearly state that this is a 4-pack. However, my original order contained only 2 lights instead of 4. I returned it and requested a replacement, but the replacement also contained only 2 lights. This appears to be either a packaging or fulfillment issue, and it should be investigated to ensure other customers receive the correct quantity. If you're ordering this item, I recommend checking the package contents as soon as it arrives.

Highly recommended
After initially buying this and installing I was dismayed and returned the product. I found that the light was always on and did not go off automatically. Then I bought this product again and tested it and found that it is working as expected or rather more than expected. It senses movement even behind closed wooden door and that is why I was finding the light always on. Very good value for money from a known brand

It doesn't have day and night sensor and motion sensor works fine.

Very sensitive
I have placed it in bathroom, working good but it turning on if anybody walking through in front of the closed bathroom door, it will be better if we can adjust the sensitivity
