Perfectly Simple to Use
The clock keeps the exact correct time. The alarm is easy to wake up to. It has a gradual beeping sound that starts with a soothing low beep to a bit louder. There are no jarring sounds even when the clock beeps the loudest. It is great for people who want to sleep a little longer as the alarm beeps every 5 minutes until the switch is turned off on the side of the clock, and that is easy to use. I like the stop button on top of the clock which is easy to turn off in the dark too. The clock does not use electricity, or need any complicated technology, and "no" bright digital lights or Wi-Fi, so one can turn off their Wi-Fi for a better restful sleep. And "yes," only batteries are needed. And "yes," the clock has large easy to read numbers and "yes," it is perfectly simple to use. Thank goodness!!!

The retro look is great.
I've tried a number of these various inexpensive retro style desk clocks and this is my favorite. Like those in the price range, i don't expect it too last very long, maybe a couple years? It's a big price jump for something even approaching the quality build and heft of the classics. But it looks pretty legit, the plastics pretty well resemble the old glass and painted aluminum of such items. Up close it really has the look of utilitarian dial faces of the 50's through 70's, the kind you'd see in classrooms, gymnasiums, and at this scale, things like workplace punch cards. Not over-styled to scream "retro 60's party," more low key but even cooler to those with an eye for such things. Great desktop reference with a fun feel for people like me who have a terrible sense of time passing, and find the face dials more charming and find it more intuitive visually than a bland digital display. Good fun.

On TiME
I am pleased with the size and color. I had expected a clear resin over the colored plastic, but for the price, my expectation may have been too high. I really like being able to see the time easily and not be reliant on small electronics. I’m happy with my purchase. I’m planning to buy another one.

Arrived with broken wire
Cute clock. Lead to the LED was unsoldered and since I habe a repair bench, I just fixed it rather than do the return hassle.

Just ok
Nicer than expected just wish the back light was clearer, it throws light across making it hard to read

Very quiet alarm
Alarm is way too quiet. New batteries wore out within 3 weeks of use. On and off button does not glide up and down easily. The snooze bar is on top which is good location but the light only illuminates as long as u press down. Others will stay on for a few seconds so u have an opportunity to check the time. It’s adorable that’s it. Would not purchase as an alarm clock

The clock that saved my relationship...
My partner hates digital alarm clocks and checking her cell phone during the night to see what time it is. I can't stand ticking clocks in the bedroom, and her previous "silent sweep" clock...was not exactly silent. In fact, the noise it made was almost worse than ticking.During the summer, the noise of the fan masked her clock noises, but with the arrival of fall...we were at odds. Every night.I found this clock and it's the best compromise ever. It's SILENT. I have to my head SUPER CLOSE to it to hear anything at all. It lights up properly, unlike some of the other clocks I looked at. The alarm is effective, if one chooses to use it--but keep in mind that being an analog clock, the time at which you set it may be off by a few minutes. So far, the time hands don't seem to be straying significantly, although that can happen with the silent sweep clocks. It's handsome, clearly retro in style, but tasteful. It is lightweight but not so light that it feels like a cheap piece of junk.If you have sensory issues with clocks that tick or hum or buzz or put off too much light or glare at you (or you're sleeping with someone who does, or between the two of you, you end up with a pretty big list of sensory offenses)...I recommend this clock. Two thumbs up, and I'm no longer spending hours at night, unable to sleep and seething at the noise of the clock hands moving around its face and plotting its grisly demise.
