Before even turning them on, they are thick, warm, very soft and cozy socks. I am a hunter who was sick of frozen feet. I am often out in the elements in harsh conditions from sun up to sun down. When I got them I plugged them in overnight & put them on in the morning to go hunt all day. I was impressed. I had them on low, and had several layers on over them. I didn’t even feel or notice the battery packs. At the end of the night, after hunting all day and dinner at camp, when I went to bed they were still on and lit up. So from 6am to probly 10pm+ they stayed warm and dry and I never got cold. I have worn them several more long days at all three settings and they never died (I charge them overnight). I am thoroughly impressed, as any battery socks I’ve owned previously only lasted a few hours total or only had one temperature setting. If you’re an outdoorsman - try these! 10/10.

This socks feels so nice and soft. They fit me well and even without the battery they feel warm.The battery: bulky but I don't mind, I got these socks to wear them while at home.The heat has 3 settings: the hottest setting was perfect for me, even though it's the highest, it's not super hot. I did notice this: when I first put them on, I just sat on my couch to watch TV an a while later I realized that my feet still felt cold. Well, because of the design, once you start walking, when the 'wires' form the socks are between your weight and the floor, the heat 'activates' and it is then more noticeable.They are good for what I wanted them, home. I would maybe wear them with my big snow boots, maybe: I'd have to see if the battery fits.

I dint normally do reviews, but because of the cost, I felt I needed to. First off the socks are good quality, they heat well. And I decided to purchase a second pair. But here is where the problem is. The switches are low quality. I hand wash these, allow to air dry. But even at doing that, the wires in the back are like glued in. Both my pairs have wires popped out and making them useless. So lets see how good customer service is.

These socks are thick and warm. The heat is adjustable and keeps your feet feeling warm and cozy. The socks are quite large and can fit my son’s size 11 feet. They work great with boots. The battery lasts a long time. Great for cold weather!

So I haven't tested them out in the wild yet but I can say without shoes on the heat is very minimal. Once I put my boots on, it was fantastic! The socks themselves are VERY thick and seem high quality. It's a little unclear on how you're supposed to wash them. I'll probably just stick to hand washing. The battery packs are a little large but if they really last a long time I wouldn't be mad about it. There is a battery light on them to tell you how much charge you have.

Ok for sitting outside on back porch in cold weather but so so with shoes/boots. Battery charge lasts about 4 hours for me. I do medium (white light) setting with another pair of normal socks over the top of these. Gets too hot (ouchy!) on higher (red) setting. Heat is only in toes!! After wearing a couple weeks the top of the sock has weakened and now the weight of the battery pulls the socks down. I found these uncomfortable to wear for a long time with shoes or boots. I would give higher rating if heat was spread out to more of the foot.

Pay attention to the sizing chart.I have a size 12-13 foot depending on the cut of the shoe/sock, and a 32" inseam. I ordered an XL. The heel of the sock is 1/2 way up my calf and the top of the sock is up past my knee like a pair of 1980's Jazzersize Leg-Warmers.The batteries do not stay in the pockets so you will have to roll the socks down to where you can't push the button, or you have to wear a pair of leggins on top of them to hold them up and keep the battery in place.That being said they keep my feet warm, unless it is raining and my shoes get wet. I would buy again, but as I wear a size 12-13 show, I would purchase a size SMALL.These things are huge.

Can’t say enough about these socks, I went into it. Completely skeptical, nothing has been able to keep my feet warm when standing at the hockey rink. Well I’ve now been proven wrong, these magical socks keep my feet from freezing, my toes are thankful, and with the 3 heat settings I even have to turn them down! Don’t hesitate to purchase these if your in the same cold feet camp as I am!
