The High Achiever's Guide to Happiness

Very sad that 92% of High Achievers are Unhappy
I was shocked when I first read in a slide that a friend and mentor of mine had shared that 92% of high achievers are unhappy. So I pursued and found the source, Vance Caesar, and had the opportunity to speak to him. He pointed me to this book and I must say that it not only highlights the many reasons that high achievers end up being unhappy but also provides a path to attain happiness while achieving their goals. Interestingly, none of the high achievers that I have shared this statistic in my workshops have challenged it. In fact, many have come to me and said, "Thank you for sharing, I thought that I was all alone." A great gift to high achievers. Thank you.

So-so
A little too preachy for my taste; I was looking for something motivational but not like this. I will keep it as a reference.

Definitely recommend it.
I found it extremely practical. It's the type of book you should really contemplate and make notes in (there's space intentionally provided for that) as you read it - and then look back and review at each year as a reminder and to see if you are sticking to the changes you need to make to get where you want to be. Definitely recommend it.

Love this book...
Very helpful for the "Is this it?" type of unhappiness....The insights and the exercises are geared to make you think about where you are in life, and where you would like to be. It is a manual of self-discovery, and I am on my way to being a MUCH happier High Achiever!

Exceptional guide to personal exploration
A real joy to read. The premise continues to be a shocker: among the great qualities expected from high achievers is "shaky self-esteem"! A personal exploration into how to reorient a high achiever
